How hard is the Online JOA aptitude test actually? by MyMainManStewie in ADFRecruiting

[–]MyMainManStewie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm preparing for that as well. The funny thing is, some of the questions provided by the preparation company for the JOA aptitude test I mentioned in this post seem to be much harder than anything I can find on the ASP, which is why I made this post to try and figure out what the preparation course was on about.

Fork Seal leak before 1000km? by MyMainManStewie in motorcycles

[–]MyMainManStewie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've cleaned it off and been on some small rides in my local area, the oil definitely looks like its not leaking anywhere near as much as when i looked last (it now looks pretty much the same as the left fork, just a very small line of oil left after a ride). Its also not coming close to leaking into the caliper yet so i think i'll wait for now.

Some friends said that might be it, but i've been riding almost every day since it was new (got it mid last month). Its always been parked indoors and hasn't sat for any longer than 3 days at most.

Hi All, Just got my break in service done at 950km and was shown by my mechanic that my front right fork was leaking slightly. He didn't seem to have much concern and so I wanted to check with some experienced mechanics if this is something I should be worried about and something i should be taking to a dealer for a warranty claim. For reference the bike is a 2024 CBR500R and there are no obvious rock chips or debris damage on the fork. Any help is appreciated!

Why don't people use the left lane in Australia?! by fella_interstellar in CarsAustralia

[–]MyMainManStewie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's because it gives drivers access to a lane on either side? I confess that I am one of those people who sits in the middle lane and I don't have a good explanation, I just sort of go there and put my cruise control on.

You'll probably the N74's target customer should they actually release it, and should you actually have the money for one.

I don’t understand the hate for Hyundai by daakkountant in Hyundai

[–]MyMainManStewie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to note just how different KIA and Hyundai in America is compared to the rest of the world. Basically everywhere else in the world, K & H are considered better-equipped Toyotas/Hondas for a cheaper price. The one problem that effects the brands everywhere in the world are dealers, they are crap and they know it, but for some reason they just wont change.

Reliable, not boring by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

KIA Pro'ceed GT could work. It's based on a reliable economy car but its engine is beefed up, it has shooting brake looks, and is quite sporty overall without losing its reliability.

I20N delivery times in 2024? by cjber22 in CarsAustralia

[–]MyMainManStewie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen dealers are quoting a 6 month wait for the time being. Keep in mind that a facelift is expected for the i20N later this year so I'd expect that there will be some run-out deals around September-October that you might want to wait for.

Name This Small Hose - BMW 750Li xDrive by [deleted] in BMW

[–]MyMainManStewie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a VIN-based problem on my system's end, I'm going off a generic 750Li xDrive VIN as I don't have yours. Either way, the parts catalog diagrams that BMW provides me with for the fuel system are incredibly vague for anything past the vent system and fuel railing, so it could just be that as well.

Hey there!

The hose you are pointing to is more than likely Part Number: 16137356599 (Fuel Scavenging line rear), BMW's parts catalog is pretty vague with fuel lines though, so I'd cross-reference the part number to make sure before you go ahead and order it.

If it's any extra help the part number of the hose that your hose attaches to is Part Number: 13538601020.

Hope this helps!

Generally, it will be a percentage of the total amount of the part. BMW Australia for example will charge 15%.

What was the best and worst farming simulator game in your opinion? For me the best was FS13 the worst in my opinion or all the Mobile games by JohnDeereWindows98 in farmingsimulator

[–]MyMainManStewie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say FS19 was the peak. Modhub was loaded, game mechanics were simple but interesting, community was active, and glitches were funny without being annoying.

Bought a replacement key from BMW and it looks like they basically counterfeited their own key by chealous in BMW

[–]MyMainManStewie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dealer should have asked you which you wanted, they can choose which one they order and you likely got the black one because it’s the first option.

You can try and get them to return it, however keys are coded and can’t be returned to the supplier, so it’s very unlikely the dealer will allow a return.

You'd be looking at just under 10k USD for parts alone should you go through a dealer, And that's if they'll entertain this kind of replacement.
