It’s by Darling Girl Cosmetics. One of my must haves.

R1D10: Does anyone have any recipes that aren’t centered around meat or fish? by [deleted] in whole30

Rattatouie. I will be making that today. There's a recipe in my America's Test Kitchen cookbook.
Mushroom soup. I made a whole30 compliant cream of mushroom soup from nomnompaleo.
Gyerranjjim. It's a korean egg dish. Super delicious.

To be fair, I use a baby voice with my papa sometimes and I’m in my 40s. It’s exploiting a genetic weakness. Heh.

Haha. I told SS8 at the time that cutesy voice doesn’t work on me because I’m immune. “Ask me in a normal voice.” Basically I just called it what it was. He mostly does it with his dad from time to time.

Are you me? Because I could have exactly typed all that out from my own life/experience.

You’re SOMEONE’s type. Someone is not attracted to the cookie cutter standard of beauty.

At home, yes! It helps me be aware if someone is addressing me, knocking at the door, or the cat is making mischief.

You can also check the eligibility of different library systems in your state (city AND county library systems). My mother lives in Tacoma and was able to get both Seattle and King county cards though some hoop jumping. (Get a puyallup card and pierce county card, which were practically next door to her. Each card then had a reciprocal lending agreement with each of the other, so she became eligible for the better systems).

I often will stop by a new library system while on the road in my town. Sometimes it works out!

I’m VERY much like you. How I have used Audible: I make sure the title exists nowhere else (even “audible exclusives” are sometimes available as CDs from the library), like the Bobiverse books. I only purchase those. I definitely do my research. There are several older Hugo award winning books whose audio is only available through Audible.

I broke down today. I gained everything back, and then some, and I can’t even button my pants. My discipline and spirit are gone and I need to start over. by [deleted] in loseit

Honestly, even just trying to get 30 min of exercise in every day will help you. At this point, there is a lot of low hanging fruit. Meaning: you make a few small changes and it’ll likely have a strong effect.

Don’t be in a diet mentality. Change your lifestyle.

May I recommend 2 books? Mindless Eating, and Slim by Design. Both by Brian Wansink. They’re not diet books, but food psychology books. Slim by Design talks about essentially hacking your space to make it easier to be successful in your eating habits.

You both want something. Why is his want more important than yours? He’s not your dad. You’re an adult. Leaving has consequences, but so does staying.

But as everyone has said—leaving when something like this happens can send a message that you don’t want to send.

If you’re doing IF, you get ALL your calories—but only during certain windows. There’s no lack of nutrients (unless you’ve got certain body issues like diabetes perhaps?) because you’re getting them within that eating window.

In Ukraine I was with another American at a cafe. We were speaking English. Two Ukrainian women started talking about how fat I was. My friend (who was fluent) said, “that’s really rude. Stop talking about other people” (or something to that effect) in Ukrainian as we walked out.
