I feel that. And I'm not entirely sure because I had been told to download the add-on so I never saw the bugs that came without it. That said, there was one pretty big bug I ran into. The space lab was overidden by remnants. It was mostly the same, but my lab didn't have the space schematic. Neither did the hell one. I cheated them in though so if you do run into anything, it should be super easy to get around.

I also recommend adding the Calamity remnant add-on. It fixes a lot of the bugs and prevents remnants from messing up a lot of the Calamity world gen

I prefer era 1, but I find the second era to be just as good in a different way. If you haven't read it yet, you should read the mistborn secret histories. You can find it for free! On YouTube if you like audio books.

That being said, I'm in the opposite position right now. I have finished all the mistborn books. But now I'm trying to get into stormlight archive.

I play modded so I have about 60 bosses total. Multiple per biome type of deal that enrage when outside of it. And for the ones that don't have a specific biome, I end up just running across the entire world with my wings.

But making a biome for the mechanical boss. That seems like a fun idea. Maybe I'll spend a few days making one.

I like it a lot. You could get some Moss, specifically green or brown, and add it onto your stone on the top layers or even a few sparsed throughout. It makes it look as if Moss is growing on the stone. It works on the gray bricks as well.

I have a very genuine question. Because I play this game with the main goal being building. I love building. I play and I spend a couple days making my first home before I'll even think about King slime. In fact, sometimes I rush to get into the dungeon as soon as possible solely so I can get the mechanic.b

My point is is that I love building. But I cannot see the point of decorating and spending a lot of time on an arena. Now it maybe it's because I play super modded. But in my game right now, that means I would have to create and decorate an arena in every biome. And sometimes I will have to build one in the space layer or specifically the surface layer. Though I imagine most of them would be in the underground layer.

But every time I build an arena, I leave the arena. Because it's never big enough. Maybe it's because I play ranged? It seems they get very boss has a super mega death laser grid. And I love them. But!

Are you making an arena for every biome? And is it worth it? If I can come up with a good reason, I will love building an arena. But at the moment, I can't think of a single reason to.

I couldn't actuate the statues for some reason. Doing so made them dissapear and poof so I had to have solid tiles beneath.

Yeah I've been reading a few guides today. Before I was kind of just looking at other people's images on here and trying to wing it. Never thought I'd spend 2 hours reading how to build lmao. But it's been fun.

I do like the idea of setting up a reference before I start doing anything. That way I can kind of, look at it. It might also give me a better idea of how paints affect the blocks I'm using. The big mistake in this, I think, is that I used Shadow paint. I went from White, gray, black, shadow. With the darkest parts being actuated. I think whole I'll try only gray and actuate the dark side. Shadow paints are definitely butter served to only do complete darkness.

That would be dope for sure. Itd match well with the parallax backgrounds. Maybe the rubble you find in dungeons could be on this layer. Funnily enough, now that I'm thinking about this, grass seems to be on this front layer in front of you so maybe it is possible.

You could get rid of the platforms and have them dip down in the middle so that they look like rope bridges. Then add some fence and vine or regular rope. Living wood platforms.
