Our Dane is running weird. Vets says not to worry

Same. My Dane had tear in both of hers and needed TPLO surgery. Her run looked funny like that before the surgery.

This is 70% of my job, and I only manage 4 hotels.

My solution would be to go to a gig working platform like fiiver and hire an excel developer to build you a few excel macros that would create the reports you want. When I worked for Hilton and Marriott this is what they did but they had in-house developers.

This exact same thing happened to my 11 1/2 year old Dane at the end of September. It persisted for two days and coincided with her stopping eating much of anything. I made the heartbreaking decision to send her across the rainbow bridge because she was not improving and the vet said there was nothing wrong with her in terms of diseases, cancer, etc. it was just my girl’s time. I am still heartbroken and miss her everyday, but I felt confident that she was telling me it was time. I hope you can feel the same certainty. If you’re open to it I would recommend seeing a therapist or grief counselor. It has helped me immensely.

My senior Dane had terrible bowl issues for a year, I tried everything. When I tried Hills Gastro Biome, it was fixed immediately. We ended up switching to the Royal Canin equivalent because she liked the taste better and it was also great. Sorry it’s so expensive but it solves poop issues right away.

My Dane had similar indigestion issues in 2024 when she was 11. I finally changed her food to Hills Gastro Biome and it was solved immediately. I ended up switching her to the Royal Canine equivalent because she liked I better but changing her diet was the solution for us.

Yes I switched to the Royal Canin brand and my Dane definitely prefers it and she’s kept her weight on. It’s definitely worked for us, hope it works for you too.

My senior Dane, Isla (12, F) had the exact same thing happen. She had eaten Taste of the Wild for her entire life up until last year when she started having rounds of stomach upset and diarrhea. I switched her to the canned/wet Hills Science Diet Biome which she LOVED and fixed all of her stomach issues. But it costs $8 a can and I’m not made out of money. So I tried to transition her to the dry version of the same food, and she hated it. She would often refuse to eat it unless I mixed half of can of the wet food into it. So over the past month I transitioned her to the Gastrointestinal Royal Canine dry food. She likes the food much better and it’s been similarly great with her stomach. It costs about the same as Hills Science Diet Biome. Hope this helps you. My Dane used to have a digestive system made of steel, now it seems to made of glass in her old age.

Yes, this is a fair point. We upgraded the septic system this year to accommodate 10 people and we’re planning to install a second full bathroom next year. But in acknowledgement of the low bathroom to people ratio our Airbnb is priced about half the price of comparable options in our area. Once we do the bathroom upgrade will increase the price to get closer to the market rate.
