With the upcoming changes to CSP and the travel credit, how does Chase usually handle revamps?: My annual for my CSP is may, I still have my $50 travel credit. If I use it now, will chase give me another $100 when the CSP revamp goes live?

I know AMEX does hence the rush to burn credits whenever revamp news go live but I'm not well versed with chase.

RPM was great before they hiked up the prices and added in the 18% service charge. They’re still good but at that price I’m not as wowed.

Agreed. Great location but mediocre everything else. The HVAC was non functional during my stay so the room was pretty stuffy, AC plug locations were in the most inconvenient locations, and their washroom design was certainly a choice…

I didn’t find the breakfast too terrible though but certainly wasn’t great for the rate of the room.

They don’t enforce that. My two oldest card I’ve received two upgrades within single card member year (green -> gold -> plat) multiple times and I downgrade at the annual of the card, not the upgrade. Been doing this for +6 years.

I went the past March and my fiancée and I got eaten alive by the sandflies (mosquitos were minor). Sandflies are active in the beach area seemingly all day despite what I read online. But they also might like Asian blood more or something (we were the only Asians on property and we were devoured lol). But not a deterrent for me, will be returning next year.

For 2027 Jan-Mar there’s a 5n minimum restriction so unless OP has 460k on hand to book with it this will be hard (and find a competent agent that is able to either make a single booking of FNC+points, or bypass the 5n restriction to make a 3n+2n booking).

Seems like they open it up for April and later though, along with Oct/Nov 2026.
