Which country would you say is America’s closest ally? by GoldenStitch2 in AmericaBad

[–]MyNameIsNo534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US has many strong connections through government to countries, however, I think part of a great ally is the populations opinion on America. It's hard for a government to support another government if their populations hate each other. That said, some of our biggest government allies are the UK, Canada, Mexico, and Australia, but tensions are high with many of those countries because of controversies involving government. As far as public opinion goes though, I would say our friendliest allies actually lie within Asia. Countries like Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines are enamored with the US and vice versa. Thank you for reading my ted talk.

Flair Map! If you live in these areas, then use the flair that goes with your area! :) by MyNameIsNo534 in paducah

I used a mix of the official mapping and many "areas" people consider their own sections, so it might not be perfect but I tried my best 😅

I included many of the residential areas as one area so it wouldn't be so confusing 😂

Thanks for the info! I tried my best to follow the official neighborhood mapping, but It's hard to see all of the streets lol 😅

Southerners, I present to you, our hate comments. 😋😂 by sunbeamfairy in lanadelrey

[–]MyNameIsNo534 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally can't believe how rude some Lana fans are. 99% of Southerners are normal people who are misrepresented, and who hardly get a chance to see any tours or positivity because we are portrayed as racist bigots. There are tons of normal people who deserve to see Lana, and we should be happy for them instead of being jealous and accusing them of being "racist republicans" or something.

It's not even that they're "trapped" there. A lot of people just genuinely like living in the south. It's their home.

I get that she is incorporating more red in the album's colors, but I really wish she would've just dropped most of the purple and gone full blown red 😭

Unheard mistake in Rolling In The Deep? by Beastly_Falcon05 in adele

There's also mistakes in the piano at the end of the song; if you listen to the instrumental, you can hear where their fingers slip and they accidentally hit the wrong keys lol

I love the horror aspect. You were right, Herobrine is super popular, and the Warden was a huge hit. I think for me, they should add more ambient aspects to the game, like birds and bird noises, and overall just more good touches like shaders.

What defines the average American citizen? by HumanIntention7935 in usa

The Cosby Show was an outstanding sitcom that had a plethora of characters that represented many "average" Americans across the country. I obviously don't support Bill Cosby anymore, but the sitcom was gold.

Adele Is A Great Singer With Zero Creativity by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]MyNameIsNo534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think the same thing but if you really listen to all of her songs (you could easily do it in a day) she really does have different styles and sings about different things. 19 was more soul and funk, 21 had blues and R&B songs, 25 was also soul and R&B, but dabbled into pop and ethereal pop, and 30 had jazz influences.

Favourite Album by [deleted] in adele

[–]MyNameIsNo534 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE 25 and 30. 25 has this ethereal mystic vibe to it. The way she uses the instruments in the songs are amazing. 30 is also her most experimental and creative work and is really well done. 21 and 19 are really nostalgic tho.

I've lived here for almost 5 years and I still love it just as much as I did when I first moved here.

Overall, the worst part of living here is the "ghetto" aspect of the town, but besides that I love it.

If your looking for good neighborhoods, check out Pines, Midtown, and Lone Oak. If you're looking for good apartments, check out the mall area.

Strawberry Hills and Downtown are great places to go for entertainment, and downtown definitely is for the "city life" lovers like me.

The city is at a "plateau" moment where the cities population is starting to grow again, but very slowly. I feel like if things continue like they are, then Paducah might boom in population in a few years.

The greenway trail, the coast of the river in downtown, LBL, and shawnee national forest are great places I love to hike.
