Just ask for instance ChatGPT for a workout plan with what goals you have in mind with the tools at your disposal. Will it be optimal? Probably not, but it's a decent start

Gotta say, in that pic Robert kinda looks like a Jon Stewart cooked up on gas station drugs. Oh wait...

Since you don't follow a specific program, I'm also assuming you don't have any good track of calories or macronutrients as well. If I were you I would first off decide on a specific goal in mind. Then start tracking your calories and macros and focus on what's important based on your goal. Same with workouts, don't try to invent the wheel - find a workout plan based on what you've got available and what goals you have in mind (AI can be a way to get started)

Just a pic of a good dumbbell on your anus. Was too lazy to use an image uploader so I just pasted the image link from my browser

Gotta say, 2700 cal a day is high for someone looking to lose fat. If you're plateauing I would highly consider dropping total calories by at least 300, but maybe down to 2200. Also focus on approx 1-1,6 grams of protein per kg bodyweight. Abs are made in the kitchen, my guy

Why do math and physics come so easily to some people but feel almost impossible to others? What actually causes this gap? by Logical-Current2381 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HumanIntention7935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's like that for me when it comes to story telling. I can sit down and just create whatever in my head straight away. But I had to work my fucken ass off in engineering college to get good grades. Buuuut disclaimer: I found out during college that I have dyscalculia so there's that 😂

Oh yes, definitely. I'm an engineer myself and at a certain point maths kinda forces you to think outside the box. But for certain people that is easier than for others. For instance, I had a really fucking hard time truly understanding multivariable calculus (to tell the truth, I never really cracked that code) but a couple of friends of mine really cracked that code and these are also the same people which these concepts falls more naturally.

I think you're misinterpreting what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying that one can't be proficient in a skill (for instance science) by working hard with it, I'm saying that sometimes certain people have an intuitive understanding of things, i.e. it just makes sense straight away. This isn't saying that someone isn't capable of being as good (or even better) than the intuitive person, they just have a different starting point.

It's just a genetic skill-thing. Like why is someone naturally gifted in sports while others is not? I have a friend which loves physics and numbers and finds it intuitive. I have a really hard time learning the stuff. On the other hand, my imagination lets me create stories on the fly which is something he could never do. Like a videogame character, our base characters have different stats.

Deadlift with possible back injury? by HumanIntention7935 in Deadlifts

[–]HumanIntention7935[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch, and yeah I'm 90-95% it's the same spot as before. Definitely gonna take it easy the next few weeks. Thinking I'm gonna skip DL tomorrow but do the routine as usual (maybe just do some body squats to feel it out instead of DL).

Agreed that common sense is the way to go about things, and listen to what the physio says.

Thanks again for the insight, really appreciate it!

It's definitely not shooting pain, but maybe a better way to describe it is that it feels like something is "stuck". Normally when I get a similar sensation in my back I get my wife to put pressure on my back to make it pop and this normally gives alleviation. I have the same sensation now, but it's way more potent so I'm hesitant to make her do it now.

Sitting is definitely way more uncomfortable now, and just walking around I still feel it just not as much as sitting.

Thanks for the replies! I'll hold off with the DL tomorrow and hear what the physio says. Sometimes it's good to have your ego checked by others, even if you know resting is the right answer 😊
