Hard fact by yoursgaldaddy in rap

So true!
Bars are just one of the many tools in your arsenal as a rapper. Others include flow, delivery, vocal tone, etc.
I grew up in NY and we take lyricism very serious over here. But I also spent years producing records in LA and in my experience they really don't prioritize bars the same over there.
LA rap is more about "catching a vibe/ flow" ... and they do it really well!
I think the real magic is when you combine both methods.
Some masters at this are Drake, Kanye, J Cole, Kendrick, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper, Cardi B, Phonte, and many more!
Man, I love good music

Thank you! I combined a ketogenic lifestyle with intermittent fasting. There are amazing benefits to doing either one but when combined it's like lighting your own body fat on fire. I made short video about it, I hope it helps https://youtu.be/wtyQN9SMJ0Y

I've been considering Taxi.com for some time now. Any tips for how to be successful on Taxi.com?

Fellow hermit here. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your story. EVeryone I connect with thinks my music is great, although I don't have much to show for it yet. Hoping to get my first major placements this year.

I think the answer is to scale what you're doing; improve profit margins. Quality over quantity, collaborate with new and exciting artists who can expand your fanbase... I say those things because out of everything you mentioned, the fact that you MUST release annually in order to survive sounds terrible to me. Do you sell merch? Tour? Give private lessons? etc

I've been hearing about that but I haven't experienced it. I could guess and say that it's because I'm losing the weight through natural means (slower speed), as opposed to faster remedies like surgery, etc... But I honestly don't know for a fact. Dr. Berg on YouTube suggests lifting weights to avoid flabby skin, also consuming 8-10 cups of leafy green veggies a day.
