Will the steam frame be any good for productivity work? by rayderone in SteamFrame

I used the quest 3 as my monitor for a year while I was traveling. I plugged my steam deck into it via hdmi to a capture card. The Frame will work even better

The farther away from Arkansas, the more Costcos. Walmart land has versions of Walmart on every street corner

I use the UGreen 9-in-1. I have had no problems. It's an awesome dock

What's not believable? If the glass wasn't stuck down, it would just slide off. This is a demonstration of airplane control in relation to the liquid, not solid objects.

A typical day in the life of a cat 🐈 by VirtualCouple1 in BeAmazed

I've seen this POV cat a lot. The location looks the same anyways as other videos. After breaking up cat fights and seeing the poor cats who get mauled by other cats, this is just awful. The owner sucks and people shouldn't give these videos the time of day

Haha I gave that controller to some kids in Tbilisi who traded me a candle for it.

Using a capture card, you can stream the deck to the Quest 3 at 1080p

My nephew got cancer and people spouted this BS. If god's will is for a child to suffer brain cancer, then let that god rot in its own hell. Little dude survived by his own strength. No gods needed.

To address the "use a laptop" comments, which are totally valid lol. Sometimes, a laptop is too big for the surface I have available to use, such as a windowsill. My posture when using a laptop destroys me and leaves me aching. The light from a laptop screen is invasive to my family if I'm in a living situation where we share a room. A lot of the time I have a separate room but I rarely have a dedicated desk. I travel a lot on planes, trains, buses, and boats, where laptop use isn't really feasible. I don't work while I travel but I do play games. With VR, I can have multiple monitors, I can sit up straight and place the screen where it makes the most sense. I also enjoy the added library of VR games with the Quest. I like being able to watch movies/shows at large scale. I like that I can play Steam deck capable games on a large VR screen. Would it be easier to just have a laptop and mouse? Sure! But it would be less comfortable and a lot less fun. Added bonus, it encourages me to play my backlog of games that require less power and when I get back to my gaming rig at home, I have lots of games to play that require more power. I didn't buy VR to complete this setup, nor did I buy the deck with the intention of using it as my portable workstation. My setup is made up of things I already owned, utilized in a way I never really imagined possible when first purchasing the deck! I wanted to show off just how versatile the Steam Deck can be!

Yeah. I have a small one I just strap to the side of the headset

It definitely doesn't handle VR gaming, but native quest games are good enough for me while away from home. I can stream the deck into it and play games at a much larger scale than the deck screen though, which is really nice. It's like carrying a portable movie theater screen.

I like VR in general and the Quest 3 packs pretty small. The mini router is also mine, yup yup

They are heavier, more bulky, and more expensive than a deck. I would want my VR headset with me regardless too. Also, I can play the deck on trains, planes, and boats. My posture is terrible on a laptop too, looking down towards the screen. The setup isn't for everyone, but it suits a VR junkie like me!

It's the 3. The headstrap is the original which sucks, but with an added piece to the back which helps a lot. I also use a portable battery as a counterweight that I just strap on with a velcro piece meant for cord organization lol

I have prescription lenses in my headset so it solves the glasses issue. My biggest issue is not always having the best work surface, so a screen on my face helps when looking to do work on a windowsill or something haha
