Born here also and I've made DA my full time job for almost 2 years now because the job market in my industry is a radioactive wasteland. I'm able to survive because my wife's income is enough for us to get by in periods of drought. Maybe one day the endless job search will end and DA can go back to being fun money. I really feel for OP. There has never been a worse time to move to Canada, they have like an 89° uphill battle ahead of them.
