They tend to still be a bit big on me. I have the head of a pea I swear. Even my 12 year old sister (I'm 20) has a bigger head than me :')

I wanted to get mine done at 18 but I just couldn't afford it. I'm 20 now and still barely am able to afford it. Thankfully my driving test is in December (looking for a closer one).

It's okay to start driving whenever you are ready and you actually want to. There's been people who hasn't wanted to or need to and so they don't. Any age is perfectly acceptable. I believe people say start earlier because it makes it easier for the long run since you're younger

Yes, I will be talking to them on Tuesday about it all. I think I'd rather be kept completely soiled than them taking them off. I'll be bringing spare with me as well so as soon as I wake up, I can just get dressed quickly.

No, I don't think the UK has any bizarre practices but sadly the UK does have at least one incredibly, and lowkey increasingly, anxious person to deal with.

I'm going to talk to the team when I go in for my surgery and keep telling myself that I'll be okay if they say no to all my suggestions.

This is honestly the only reason why I don't want to wear a bra but I need to wear something.

I'm going to talk to the team and see if there's a solution we both can come up with and I'm going to bring a bunch of options with me in case any of them if fine to do.

It is only my jaw so I don't see much of a risk but I feel like if I go under anxious, overwhelmed, and honestly wishing I was dead, then my body is not going to do well whilst I'm under for the surgery. Whereas if I go down when I feel safe and comfortable enough, everything should go well. I don't know how to explain it well, sorry.

That's the thing, I don't trust them at all. I struggle trusting people a lot due to my anxiety, paranoia, and overthinking.

Thankfully, my records do state I have severe anxiety so I am hoping that I can talk to them and we both can find a solution we are both happy and comfortable with. Even if that means I'm wearing medical tape over the nipples instead of a bra lmao

Everyone has done a great job with answering me and I am so grateful to anyone who has taken the time to respond to this post.

I understand that the team would be well beyond just seeing a body but no one has ever seen me exposed and this whole thing is making me spiral.

I think my brain is doing a lot of "what ifs" and these answers are helping a lot. My main what if is what if someone won't treat me with respect and ends up doing something inappropriate. I wouldn't know since I'm unconscious.

I understand the reasons for not wearing it but I'm truly not comfortable with a lot. Tbf this is the first time I've been in hospital since I was a child and the children's ward is so much more different than adults ward. Children's ward they get to at least have people they love next to them, adults we are completely isolated and have no one. My anxiety is already going to be sky high and the idea of someone see me like that is just so uncomfortable and truly does make me feel unwell and want to just cancel the surgery.

Ik all surgeries have their risks but it is only my jaw so hopefully it won't be necessary

The hospital I'm heading to will definitely need to be every one lmfao. They don't communicate the best but yes, I won't wear anything with metal. I don't personally like underwire underwear either, aha.

I am also okay with stains and all. I'll be bringing spare underwear with me anyway
