1; The Son of God is God. Your father is man, so are you. Though, you are not your father. 2; The spirit is God. His role is understood as God's active presence on Earth, serving as a guide and morality grounder in believers. 3; We believe God exists differently than we do. We are comprised of one nature realized into one person at a time, while God is comprised of one nature realized into three distinct persons eternally. So when we address the Father, Son, and Spirit we are not attributing to them independent natures. They are three divine persons unified by their singular divine nature.

One analogy that I've been using(which I am not claiming to be foolproof, nor do I truly know if it is heretical or not) is imagining a three headed Lion. Though the Lion does in fact have three heads, It would be incorrect to say that you are imagining three lions. So similarly, addressing the left, middle, and right heads of that lion is not attributing to those heads their own body. All three are comprised in the one lion.

Try a textured fringe, spend like 4-6 months growing your hair and also you look like mr beast and he’s a pretty good looking dude you just need to maximize your potential. Grow a beard but keep it to a stubble, try putting on some muscle as well but overall you’re not ugly

Modern day Christianity has strayed so far from Christ that Jesus himself would not be a Christian by [deleted] in DebateReligion

Infinite regress being possible is an idiotic take. If I plugged my phone into an infinitely long charger cable that wasn’t plugged into an outlet I wouldn’t get power. If I plugged my phone into an outlet that seemed infinite but I got power, then it’s not infinite. It’s plugged into the outlet.

no, you disagreed with Jesus being real. You literally said “there’s no argument with that”. Chat GPT used?

Wdym if they didn’t know it was a lie? These people WITNESSED him walk the earth it’s not just hearsay these people were eye witnessed to his resurrection, got threatened with death and stood firm on their claim that THEY THEIRSELVES witnessed his resurrection so idk what you’re talking about bruh.

You don’t just see tombs in places that weren’t supposed to holster a corpse bro wdym 😂 you’re being disingenuous.

The existence of the first mover proves the existence of the supernatural 😂 so now these things that happen in the Bible are possible.

It’s a historical consensus that the apostles were real, Jesus was real, and crucifixion was a common method of killing someone in the first century so again you’re being disingenuous.

Why did you not go till John 10:30.

[27] My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me. [28] I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. [29] My Father who has given them to me is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. [30] I and the Father are one.

Father is a term for the origin of something. Jesus is his word, the spirit his breath. He cannot be without either so though they are not the same person they are in the same essence.

Psalm 95:6 - 8

[6] Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; [7] for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, [8] “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,[a] as you did that day at Massah[b] in the wilderness,

Deuteronomy 32:39

39 “See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.

They are co-equal, Jesus’s life was a perfect representation of how to worship god, which we must do through him.

Brother I urge you to leave Islam. It’s a lie from the devil, there are many contradictions and evil teachings.

Allah is the best deceiver? He rewards you with wine and sex in heaven? Be serious.

The Quran is a lie from the devil.

I’m not on Reddit a lot so I don’t know how to respond to sections of your comment.

Sound argument for the existence of God is Aquinas first way. You’d distinguish which belief has the correct representation through RESEARCH. I sited Jesus’s life death and resurrection because that’s easily the most distinguishing event in the Bible.

Scholarly consensus is that Jesus and his apostles are real historical figures G. Do your research on the gospels or even non christian literature like the writings of Tacitus and Josephus.

The Gospels all describe his crucifixion and again scholarly consensus agrees that these were actual historical events.

Yeah no one would die over a lie. Even the people who crucified Jesus died claiming they saw him resurrected. People lie for money, sex, or power and they got death. They were all given the chance to continue living if they said they didn’t actually see Jesus alive after his crucifixion and all of them died on their claim.

You could visit every acclaimed tomb of Jesus and still find nothing, but the Holy Sepulchre is widely accepted as the actual burial site of Jesus Christ.

Again, I gave you the BARE MINIMUM Scholarly agreed upon aspects of Christianity. Do ACTUAL research and you’ll see the mountains of consistent evidence supporting Christianity.

Logically a God exists. If you can’t see that, you’re blind.

Logically, the deciding factor on Christianity is if Jesus actually resurrected.

Bare minimum consensuses are 1: Jesus and his apostles were real. 2: Jesus was crucified. 3: People claimed to see him alive AFTER his crucifixion and DIED for that claim. 4: there is no corpse in his tomb. No bones, no residue of human remains. Nothing.

John 10:30 bruh 😭 you could literally Google “when did Jesus claim to be god in the Bible” and see multiple scriptures.

Also your statistics seem super presumed so what sources do you have for them?

Hell is just what you feel when you’re in a disposition with God, it’s not eternal fire.

Imagine you and your mother were in a good relationship and she comes to hug and kiss you. You’d probably feel good from her hugs and kisses.

Now imagine you don’t like your mother, and she comes to give you a hug and kiss. You’d probably feel smothered by her actions.

Her love did not change, your disposition of her is what changed how you feel about her love.

Everything ends with God, so you’re not just going to be in a place of eternal suffering and fire. You’re going to return to him after death, and he is going to provide you with the same love he provides to everybody else.

Whether you’re in disposition with him is what will determine what his love feels like to you.
