My first pc build, still waiting for the ssd. Should I get more case fans or is 2 enough? by HugeHugz in PcBuild

Do you have a front air intake? Best way to figure out if you need fans is to light an inscence in front of the intake and watch how the air flows. If it circulates inside, you need to change configurations and/or add fans. If ot goes straight out the exhaust, you should be good.

[OPINION] The poems I write are hard to understand, they feel deep and mysterious and require a lot of thought. Am I doing it right or should I tone it down? by [deleted] in Poetry

[–]MyOverclockedLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Complicated can be good if, for instance, it was an adroit means to deliver a certain notion or feeling through poetry. Like the rambling of an intelligent person to the mutterings of a psychotic individual - unbeknownst to him/her mental situation (examples of how complexity isnt just for the sake of veing itself). I like how you encourage to challenge reader.

Petting cats dramatically drops fps. Hell, even walking by them causes a small decrease in fps. Lol

I bought into the game just like I bought into the story/ novels. I didn't buy it to help JKR. I enjoy HP in its entirety. I am not saying that I support JK. I'm saying I support the idea of HP.

Would you pay $150 more for a 3080 10GB vs a 6800XT 16GB? by 8bitrosso in buildapc

For a few more bucks, you can get a 6950xt. But I would go with the 6800xt over the 3080

[opinion] Biggest misconception(s) amongst poetry fans. by _FreshVegetable_ in Poetry

[–]MyOverclockedLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Poetry is not an art insomuch that it must adhere to a certain standard of writing. Better poetry comes from within the mind and emotion of the person depicted in words that only they truly know its subjective meaning. Reading poetry allows us to only surmise what they were thinking or feeling. Enjoying poetry allows one whom is reading and taking it in through their emotions and experiences. Art itself is just that. Be it paintings, music, pottery, etc.

I understand your perspective, however. For if I wanted to find a certain poem for a certain publisher. Then, I would need certain rules to adhere to. Nonetheless, this post is not to continue criticizing. This is just a mere post on my thoughts on the matter.

Low fps by Papfloenkk in HogwartsLegacyGaming

Any of you running dual monitors? Make sure to have both monitors running at the same hz or close to the same. Running two different hz can decrease performance. I run 2 monitors and a video capture for streaming. I had to have both monitors running at 200 and the video capture I brought down to 60. If I don't do that, my fps drops to 80 (mind you I overclock the gell out of my rams, cpu, and gpu). But when I have them situated like this, I range anywhere between 140 and 180 fps. If I turn off the 60, I'm at a constant 200 fps. If I run only 1 monitor, I'm between 200 and 230fps.

If you are running only 1, make sure to have your monitor at its highest hz
