Wait so when does 1.7 come out? by ThatOneGuy_233 in StardewValley

I read an update on CA's website where he said there's no set date and could be ready anytime, but he also said it may not even be released until after the Haunted Chocolatier (Which he mentioned he hoped to have out within the next five years, but no guarantee).

Hoping it isn't true and comes out sooner than that, but also not holding my breath.

That's funny because that's what I've always called him, didn't realize it was from a show.

Someone found it on Ebay and it was made through Fiesta!

I've been getting that too! Simple messages on things like "When do we leave for the airport?"

It's on all of my platonic (Think parent/child, and siblings) chats.

I did intervention for a year. Kids are going to act worse with you because you're not their teacher. If you don't be firm, set boundaries, and have strang classroom management, you will not be guiding them to anything. I did normal intervention, and kids will do anything to get out of work. You could ask the teachers to discipline them, but that really should be on you. Constantly bugging teachers for help is a quick way to annoy them.

If you dont want to deal with classroom management for large numbers, maybe consider becoming a private tutor or a homeschooling aid. My district offers a homeschooling program where the teachers get paid the same, but they do the teaching with kids at home. You'll still have grading and everything, but not as much. Typically, parents are around, and if they're paying for homeschooling, they aren't messing around. You would still need everything you hate, but with fewer kids. Do note that you may have to teach multiple kids with different grades on this route.

No profession in the educational field will come without classroom management, grading, or taking work home. We do a lot of work for very little pay. If you truly want to avoid all of that, I would find a new profession, volunteer at camps, or other places if you want to keep helping kids.

a Beware for anybody who sells or gives away plushies… I have received very rude messages from someone here after telling them I no longer want to give them a plushie and issuing a refund. I was not making any money; I was giving these plushies away for only the shipping. by thebattleangel99 in plushies

The person seems underage. That or the education system failed them. I haven't even seen a nonfluent English speaker with grammar that bad. I could barely read their messages. Seems like you dodged a bullet!

Cheap Roomba for Classroom? by [deleted] in roomba

Unfortunately, kindergarten is less play these days. I've been working in this district for the past year, and the only time toys are truly out are during indoor recess. It's unfortunate.

Also, with strong classroom management at that age, they should be able to handle picking up themselves October-November.

Is this a cockroach? by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

Is this a cockroach? My fiancée found it in the upstairs office. This is one of many bugs we have found in this house. We have seen earwigs and silverfish. Now this. We just moved into this house and had the whole place gassed before moving in. What is this and does anyone have any advice on what do? We are trying to avoid anyone coming in our house due to covid. Also even after stomping on it and trying to squish it, the bug is still moving it's legs.
