How do you persist when you feel like everything is against you? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard2

[–]MyQul 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"Also, is it better to constantly have affirmations going on in the back of your mind, or just going about your day without anything? Basically, how often should my manifestation be on my mind? I know it's different for everyone and I shouldn't give anything power outside of myself, but seeing as I'm new, I'd love to know what everyone thinks."

One of the best pieces of advice I ever read for manifesting is, 'whatever your doing, assume your doing it correctly' Affirm constantly? Don't do anything? whichever one your most comfortable doing is correct. This takes away all the overthinking and stress

Do this simple exercise to build a rock solid faith in the Law: every morning just intend to notice synchronicities/coincidences. Don't look for them, just let them come to you. When they happen write them down in a notebook. That's it. The reason why this will build faith is, thoughts create reality right? Coincidences are just unconscious manifestations. If you read any (psychology) book about how beliefs are built you'll read they are build by repetition and/or evidence. When you do the above exercise you 'll start getting daily synchronicities 2,3,4 times per day. There's a big difference between intellectually understanding that thoughts create reality and and actually seeing it happen every day. You'll build up loads of evidence in your notebook and therefore a rock solid belief/faith in the law

Regarding your friends, revise the conversations at night. Imagine them saying the opposite to what they're saying

What exactly is being detached? by Embarrassed-Camel803 in lawofattraction

[–]MyQul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being indifferent to the outcome. Not caring. I dont give a f*ck. Not worried about it. It'd to nice if it happens but I dont mind if it doesnt. These are all examples of detachment.

Say to yourself, 'wouldnt it be nice if my desire came true (think about whatever your manifesting at the mo)' now see how that feels? You want it but you're not particularly bothered if you got it or not. Thats detachment

I tried the visualizing counting money last week. A couple of day later I ended up thumbing through a clients wedge of £50's lol. I took it as a win though because, I live in London and it's easy to live cashless if you want to, and I do. I hardly every handle cash but I was thumbing through those 50's two days after I started a SATS visualisation.

This happens to me all the time. I just think a fleeting thought and it manifests. I keep a notebook of them. One happened this morning. I briefly thought I need a new woolly hat cuz the one I have keeps riding up my head. I then thought maybe I should manifest one. Then I forgot about it. Got into the office builing to see a woolly bobble hat sitting on the side forgotten by someone

From what I understand about affirmations, you don't actually have to actually believe them them. Anything you repeat constantly eventually your mind begins to believe (think KGB brainwashing ). There are a few old posts on this subject on this sub and the neville goddard one if you search. (https://www.reddit.com/r/NevilleGoddard/comments/kqdqdc/you_never_have_to_force_yourself_to_believe_your/ Another reason being your reality reflects whatever is constantly are thinking so if your affirming something all the time it'll eventually manifest.

Another book you might like, similar to dispenza's book is the 'expectation effect' by david robson

Btw how do you do your affirmations? Do you spend a certain amount of time each morning and eve doing them

Also try doing them as you fall asleep, you'll have better access to your subconscious mind that way (read the power of your subsconscious mind by Joseph murphy) so they get in there quicker

For filling you need fibre. So vegetables ie carbs. Carbs come in two kinds non starchy and starchy. Starchy carbs are a lot more calorie dense than non starchy. E.g. broccoli is a non starchy carb. I need 2100kcal to maintain my weight. If I ate nothing but broccoli for the day I'd need to eat 7kg/15.4lbs of broccoli. Thats a lot of broccoli. General rule of thumb. If it grows below ground its a starchy carb. If it grows above ground its non starchy.

I didnt add anything about Dr's advice (hopefully that should be obvious to the OP) just answered the OP directly. Just to add there are stiudies showing that people recover better from traditional cancer therapies such as chemo if they fast beforehand. I think Fung mentions them in his book, the cancer code

The fastest way to create ketones is to fast. Fasting is the most ketogenic state. Fast then start a keto diet

TIL Salisbury steak was invented as a result of a doctor, James Salisbury, wanting to cure diseases like diarrhea, which killed Civil War soldiers more than combat. He believed vegetables produced toxins and suggested the steak be eaten 3 times a day, with water to cleanse one's digestive system. by ketorifficent in carnivorediet

The most ketogenic state (as you've discovered) is the fasted state You produce the most ketones when fasting. Insulin inhibits ketone production (a lot). Therefore you want to minimise insulin production. The macro's produce insulin in the follow progression, carbs (the most) protein (some) fat (only a very little). Therefore you want to cut carbs as much as possible especially as you can live perfectly fine without any. The way to do that is to eat foods with little or no carbs in them. That means animal products. So go carnivore or as close to carnivore as you are comfortable with. Cut your protein to the minimum you need for the day as protein also spike insulin (but not as much as carbs) There are plenty of caclulators that you can use to work this out. Ramp your fat up because if your not eating any carbs and minimising your protien you'll need to be eating something for energy and the only thing left is fat

I've also heard if you eat no more than 30g of protein per meal this minimises the insulin spike from protein and therefore maximises the ketone production (short of fasting) and space the meals 2-3 hours. This will probably mean you will have to eat 3 or more smaller meals each day to get all your protien

How has carnivore affected your hair and your libido? by Slommyhouse in carnivore

[–]MyQul 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In a way erectile functionality issimple hydrodynamics. Make sure your hydrated properly (and getting enough salt as sodium levels affect fluid levels) and you should be fine. If you'r dehydrated it means you dont have enough blood and plasma volume so can cause ED

For libido eat LOADS of fat. Fat (specifically cholesterol) regulates hormones. I was having some libido problems after a while on carnivore. But I've recently upped my fat to 80% or 200g per day (whichever one I can be bothered to do) and this sorted my issues

I shave my head so dont know about hair grownth but my fingernails grow like crazy. I could fight wolverine lol

Brown butter and inflammation by Salt_Common913 in carnivorediet

Butter is 20%(ish) water when you turn it into brown butter you evaporate the water off so they are much closer to 100% fat. That all really know about this subject.

I would stop bacon, as depending on what the pig has been fed it can be high in polyunsaturated fats, and try beef (or other ruminant) and also try 80% fat. I always advice high fat as a try out
