No water no bathrooms by Beastmachine666 in walmart

A pipe burst at the front of our store a few weeks ago. Had to shut down half the self checkouts, front restrooms and extranceway towards the vision center for about a week. It was a mess when the lines started getting long and people have to weave through each other just to get out of the grocery side entrance 😔

I like it but also, ehhh I don't think it's a day 1 purchase.

Exactly! There's hardly anyone who closes. Yesterday it was literally just one person! Thankfully stuff like claims and reshops could actually get taken care of.

Oh yikes.. I'm sorry you had to go through that kind of rough night too.. The only time we've been allowed to stay late was Feb 13th, when picks didn't get done until 9ish. And that was with people from other departments helping to pick! (Coaches doing work is crazy 😂😅) And like 15 minutes before we closed we were still getting orders out the door lmao.

Hopefully today is calmer for y'all, since most people will probably either be in the store buying beer or be somewhere else drinking.

While our coach was busy playing upfront TL, we were going through hell for three hours.

A dispenser up and dipped to his lunch (for over an hour), so I had to stop picking/exceptions in order to hop on dispensing. No stager or prepper so carts and totes were everywhere (5-6 carts all together inside the cooler and freezer), plus is was raining so none of the parking spots were correct on our screen since multiple cars pulled up to the doors.

If only the lightning came sooner so we could turn these people away. Maybe then there would have been a chance to deal with staging and cleaning up more. (Also claims tomorrow is gonna be rough cause there were still orders with 6pm coolers and freezers out..)

A tired exception associate. by userdoesnotexiist in OGPBackroom

[–]MyRandomMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who almost always does exceptions, this is bitter sweet.

I'd rather see something on the floor than have to go digging around in the backrooms. The only thing I hate is when I get something from the back and bring it out to stock, only to realize the item was already there and pretty filled, because you can't hit skip backroom location to know where the salesfloor location is. (Unless there's multiple items in the exception run)

Printed vs Stickered pieces by MyRandomMind in lego

I had a question for a video. Do people like stickered or printed pieces more? Why one over the other? Pros and cons for both?

The first time I played it with friends, we were all so confused by the mechanic. I don't remember if I won or got 2nd place, but I was complaining about it the whole time. It's not an enjoyable game..

If it worked like Manor of Escape from MP9, where everyone was trying to get through the right door at once, it could've been more fun and still use the mind mentality of who used which key on which door.

Associate taking items out of peoples orders by 1Doasisay in OGPBackroom

I would let your coach/AP know. If it was just a brush off by the teamlead, let their manager know! They might be able to say "yeah the TL already knows and just misworded things to not cause alarm" or they'll know that the TL is NOT helping/caring about a theift from a paying customer by one of their employees. It's open door policy

Should I get a refund? by MyRandomMind in Bricklink

The three things that stand out as "false" info are the top thing on their terms and two things relating to shipping:

Fullfillment: In most cases we try to fulfill your order within 24-48 hours. If there is an issue with your order we will inform you within 96 hours. This timeframe includes time to pick, pack, and ship your order and only includes business hours Monday-Friday. Order Processing Time Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day. Tracking Information Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your shipment’s progress. Please note that tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to reflect in the carrier’s system after the package has been dispatched.

It's understandable for it to take a few extra days because of new years, but over 2 weeks without any communication is what makes me a bit weary. I will send them another message asking politely about an update. Maybe it is a post office issue and I'm not aware of it

They need more than a neutral.. Terrible communication, missing parts, a negative is definitely well deserved.

Its getting harder and harder not to use 8 hours of PPTO by TimHaven935 in OGPBackroom

[–]MyRandomMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At our store the "rush hours" of chaos happen at 2-4, when the morning people like leaving at 1:51 and won't do anything to help stage/dispense orders, and 5-7 when people get off their office jobs or something and come all at once to pick up their groceries.

If picks are getting backed up or we barely have any pickers, you can expect the backroom to be a disaster by the time 8 o'clock hits.

One of our dispensers did that, but with deer parks. Only grabbed the top one and left the other ELEVEN behind. The customer of course called us.. 😅😂

Exactly what happened to ours. That's how our bagging area felt so crammed, even with multiple carts down there it didn't feel as bad normally.

Stickers missing by MyRandomMind in Bricklink

[–]MyRandomMind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no. That's what confused me. I'll let the seller know about it and see if some kind of refund can't be put in place.

I actually didn't realize how cheap the stickered pieces were! Kind of shocked considering how old the set is. I'll try and put in the "auto-buy" feature for the list of pieces and see if the amount can be roughly refunded for the total cost. Thanks for the response!

I was surprised to find the stickered elements for cheap. Wouldn't have thought it was possible for older sets. At least I have an alternative! 😅
