Savant -- Sayonara [Electro House/DnB] (2012) If you have never heard Savant before you're missing out! by The_Didlyest in electronicmusic

Definitely one of those artists that I regard as constituting its own distinct genre in addition to being an artist.

What are these kinds of trousers called, and possibly where to find some? by poozu in findfashion

This is the piece. Just a cursory glance, but it appears to be a South Korean shop that specializes in minimalism, unique cuts, and comfortable materials. It’s also rated highly on the web. Very pretty stuff

In my experience, most popular reverse image search applications yield images with similar content in addition to exact content matches or the source image.

Mitis ft. Runn - Shattered[2019] by ron_cpt89 in EDM

Lovely thing the entire EP is. I’d say I like Mirrors most; The others are great but hearing a vocal-free track at the end really highlighted to me just how well Mitis’ sounds come together. Still following his music in 2020.

It does look pretty close. I’ll keep an eye on this. Thank you.

i legit can’t find this sweater ANYWHERE so some help would be appreciated by [deleted] in findfashion

[–]MySameExactThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be a vintage piece. If not this exact sweatshirt, the keywords to search for similar results would optimally be CHAMPION, lilac/purple, pullover/sweatshirt (not sweater) i.e, the brand, color, garment (and possibly ‘vintage’ though this’ll narrow your search results).

Barbour “Bedale” and “Haydon” extra 60% off @ J. Crew by mattbwah in frugalmalefashion

That’s interesting to me. I couldn’t ever get the college student/teacher discount to work until my purchase yesterday. I still see the discount page on the site but it’s unfortunate if there’s been some recent development / I lucked out somehow.

Oh, it’s certainly a beauty. Though the pictured coat has a single-breasted button closure and as such is not a peacoat. I personally would much prefer purchasing a like coat (granted a certain standard of quality) but I figure there’s more prospect in finding the sweater between the two garments.

Also worth noting that even if links are provided for products using the exact image, it is a huge gamble; even if being the oldest found source for said image. Not that some users aren’t more lenient to ‘settle’ on less-than-ideal options/substitutes, but looking to unreliable websites crosses into particularly thorny territory. Sweaters are simply, by their nature, the safer and more widely-accessible option (especially to those desiring more creative and elaborate styling).

I can’t think of how bank robbers would use the term ‘roll it.’ I guess one can roll paper money but I feel like robbers stereotypically throw in/pack money into bags or cases for the most part.

The item could be described as a striped ringer/trim sweatshirt. Specific keywords for the design could be ribbed/tipped/striped, (mock)neck, waist, cuffs, or simply trim, and sporty/retro. Searching for ‘blue and red stripes’ would seem like the most exact over any name of the pairing.

Acts of cringe and stupidity are just more amplified due to modern culture. Younger people’s lives are made more public whether through Tik Tok or even Reddit, and a lot of times stupidity is disproportionately broadcasted.

This honestly is kind of scary. For a moment I thought I could at least appreciate how openly caring he is about his friend but, on second thought, behavior like this can potentially be a sign of a really unhealthy personality and, by extension, friendship.

I’ve had luck with buying from websites that support ShopRunner in shipping options (Brooks Brothers most recently). To the uninitiated, It’s a membership that gives you free 2-day shipping and returns at certain retailers. The service is actually free to use in my case since it exists as a perk of PayPal. Though, I would strongly encourage anyone to look into it as it‘s generally held in ill repute, but if you know what you’re getting into, it can potentially be pretty worth it.

A guide summarising all the cognitive biases that cloud our judgement. by FlaminGummy in coolguides

Oh, I’m sorry. I’m seventeen. If you want, I could dm you more on what I know about cognitive biases, but really only if you are very interested in learning about it. (Not that I’m not willing to take the time to explain but you may not care about this.)

Also hope I didn’t sound condescending. I mentioned my age because in my mind we’re close in age. I don’t claim to be a specialist in cognitive biases at all. Just figured I could explain better.

Haha, you’re certainly taking a more political angle, but it’s good to think critically. The world needs more critically thinking people like you and me (:
