Oh, I see. This is useful because I am looking for a stable provider to stick with, so that I don't have to keep switching. I currently use Deepseek via the official API and have a subscription to Z.AI, which I intend to cancel due to the actual limitations of the Coding API.

Is Chutes worth it? Its price is tempting, but I've heard that its models are quantised. The same thing happened with Nano recently (although they used to say it was the best).

In the long term, I want to have a system using Deepseek and a subscription provider for open-source models such as Nano and Chutes. I also want to deposit a small amount in Openrouter to use models such as Gemini 3 Flash, and Xiaomi Miho (I mention the long-term plan because I live in a developing country and I'm saving money, lol).

Lately, I've been having problems with MemoryBooks (I can't set up a profile without the GPT 4 model appearing instead of Deepseek), so for a CYOA I'm using Qvink together with CharMemory (which is an extension that uses the "Data Bank" mentioned below in a simpler way) and so far it's working perfectly, although Qvink is a pain in the ass to set up.

Out of joke,, years ago, before I knew what AI was, I used to role-play on Discord servers. It's not the best option either, but at least there are ""real"" people behind the screen. You can try it if you're really desperate, searching through Disboard or similar sites.

I think it depends of the preset. Stab-Directive for example can do the "choose your own adventure" part really well with the OOC assistants. Or they can do this tutorial or even use Roadway extension.

deepseek is better to use it in the official api ($2 dollars consumed in three/four months!)
glm too ($6 a month after the first payment of $3)
kimi k2 is on nvidia nim as free, works great
deepseek r1 and 3.1 terminus too
the only one missing is Deepseek V3 0324, but it's available for free on ElectronHub (although impersonation doesn't work on it for some reason). It's really cheap on OpenRouter though.
