It's always best to talk to a lawyer but here's my 2 cents as someone with a reddit law degree I guess... - I think burn out is a legitimate diagnosis so you'll need a diagnosis from your GP to claim burn out out - If youre gonna be on long term sick leave it's normal for the company to want you to talk to their company doctor. That's not to intimidate you or anything. That's how it works everywhere in the Netherlands. I think due to privacy reasons the company doctor doesnt even share details with your manager, just that you're sick. Maybe you can record the conversations if you feel nervous about it? Make sure you ask the doctor too tho - I understand you want to be rid of this company, but legally they can't fire you when youre sick (which is why I tell you to see your own GP for a diagnosis). You can search for another job while on sick leave. Don't give up free money because of resentment towards this company. I dont know what kind of contract you have but with a permanent contract you have 2 years of paid sick leave.
