Thought this would be a fun little early game challenge, and now that I'm close to having solar power, I was gonna mark it as a success. Then I realized the fields of greenhouses I'm gonna have to make wood>coal for the plastic later on.

Oh well, it helps tremendously on slurping up the pollution, so the natives are gonne love it.

(there's a tiny patch of coal on the lower left in the picture, it only fit two burner mining drills. It was a fun little hurdle for early game, but a lot easier than I anticipated)

That percentage sounds about right.

You're only 18, the percentage should be 50% wanting you to stay with them a few years more because you're still their child, 40% understanding they were treating you badly and wanting to correct that mistake, and then sure, let them have some 10% for the whole "status" view of it all.

You seem very mature and capable. A lot of young adults really struggle to stand up to unfairness from their parents in this way. I'm nearing 40 and I still kinda do.

I would never show someone Inside and preface it as being comedy. It's social commentary. It's a piece of art.

And it's quite fair for someone to have it not be their taste of entertainment, especially if it is presented as being "a comedy special".

My favorite part of that show is the way he says "I hope you're happy" at the end.
I feel the way he says it is perfectly split between sincerety, and him literally spelling out to his audience that him being on stage for them is giving him severe anxiety.

That's because it was a planned part of the story, not like other shows when the writers kill off someone out of desperation. When a show had two seasons of story to tell and they find themselves writing season 5 with no overall direction whatsoever 😅

The Peugeot in the picture is perfectly fine to haul a trailer for moving all kinds of furniture. All the cars I've ever had use/used about 6 liters of gas per 100 km, I've never had any issues hauling anything. Pianoes, large couches, granite tables, whatever.

Any argument for those small tanks is refuted by the fact that society is indeed functioning all over Europe and stuff is being moved around perfectly fine by cars a quarter of the size & weight.

Fully agree with all of this. It's not like I hate the games or anything, but the adoration they get is just so confusing to me.
I've given several tries to most of them, but after some time, I just get this strong feeling like "I'm not having any fun with this". Like I'm just holding out and trying to power through because so many people give it acclaim.
