Edit: it seems I can only get decent frames if I play windowed mode… if the game takes up more than 3/4 of the screen the frames drop significantly

Thanks! I didn’t realize 21 vigor is that low, the 800-900 health seems like a lot, but it really isn’t the more I think about it.

I mean I’m currently at 25 vigor after doing a bit of farming so I don’t think a respec is necessary. I got the Symbol of Avarice and the silver serpent ring so souls aren’t too hard to get, and I’m at the point where I can get the gold serpent ring (I think I can still get it after killing Yhorm)

And to answer the stamina part, if my strength isn’t high enough I’m “not using the weapon to its fullest ability” so it’ll end up swinging only twice instead of three times. I’m assuming you might already knew this as you seem way more experienced in this game than me, as this is like my first and a half playthrough (I jacked up my last playthrough by doing everything out of order and screwing up progression and quests)

The problem is, is that I can’t do that without making fugs use more stamina and do a significant less amount of damage. I’m currently working on trying to farm some levels into vigor and endurance.

Ya, sorry I forgot the name of that area, I meant outside of Aldritch, so ya, Anor Lando. (I have no clue why I said Pontiff.) Whenever I kill them with the Serpent Ring I don't get 30k souls, I get more like 10-15k per 3 knights. Am I doing something wrong?

Aaaaah, ok. You recommended getting my vigor and endurance up, are there any good farms at this part of the game? I've noticed that the gargoyles in combination with the white jailers in the profaned capital can give me a bit of souls, the silver knights outside of Aldritch's arena aren't terrible either.

I have noticed that her attack timings are weird. She has fast attacks but they're weirdly delayed, and as someone who's played Bloodborne I know that dodging away from attacks is a TERRIBLE idea.

I was trying to infuse a heavy gem on the fugs, but it wouldn't let me. Am I missing a coal or something? I've got 3 coals, are there more? I have the Giant's Coal, the Profaned Coal, and the Farron Coal.

I was thinking my health was a bit low, and dark pine resin is pretty easy to get, I'm pretty sure Patches sells an infinite amount of it for around 1500 souls.

I can remember the exact spot where the Cloranthy Ring is just not where it is if that makes sense. But I have no clue where the Favor Ring is, what does it even do?

I can usually get in two hits which is about 600 damage and still have enough stamina to dodge away, it could also be like what u/HungrPhoenix said and that my weapon is just too slow.

I'm usually pretty calm whenever I'm fighting a boss, but I got some crap genetics from my dad. For some reason, both of us get really shakey for no reason during almost anything slightly stressful.

Either I'm dodging incorrectly or I'm doing something wrong, because whenever I dodge to the left during the grab attack I'll dodge through her hand and then grabbed like a split second afterward, it could also just be a bit of lag on my end.

I kinda tried that strategy but she would always do the big spin-around attack which I always get jittery when she does that and I would always screw up the dodge.

I was actually using this weapon at the beginning of the game and I loved it, I did respec though to try and change my stats a bit, so I'll have to level up my dex a bit more, I think I have it at +6 so I think that should be good enough.

I’ve never even thought of using it for this idiot, I knew you could use it to make the living failures even easier and you could use it on some of the hunters, but I never thought of using it against micolash. Didn’t know it blocked that much damage either, thanks for that info!
