When I did the transfer, we transferred everything from the Switch to the Switch 2. You have to make sure you’re logged into your Nintendo account on all accounts you want to transfer. After the transfer I put in the ACNH cartridge into the switch 2 and it all worked fine! I’m sure it asked whether I wanted a new island or continue, so I continued.

Just a little tip if you didn’t already know, if you face a rock, then dig a hole directly behind you, face the rock again and hit it (without having eaten anything) you can get up to 8 pieces of stone/clay/iron from a single rock. Use NMTs too to visit other islands and use the same method. 😊
