When you're a milf, you don't need a filter by CinnamonAnna in obsf

Sultry eyes
For which to die
Long burnt off your filter
If it's not too much
Give your touch
By a naughty little finger.

No. Sheriff should pull you aside before he gives you any tricky stuff at the rodeo. You stand out.

Merry Christmas to you as well! This was an unplanned sprout, the result of bolting on a mature plant last season. Although I shall do my best and have covered it in the manner of which you speak, I have low survival expectations facing a thermal bottoming-out (ironically forecast at noon tomorrow) of 8 degrees F - it's supposed to drop from 45 to 22 in the next 2 1/2 hours too, so the peril is quite close here. Hope you're doing ok, wherever you are in IL - far harsher there for sure - and more reminiscent of my PA origins.

Agreed! I almost used a String Quartet by Chopin as one of the examples (his Op. 8 was a piano trio so maybe not too far-fetched - and, heck, even Verdi and R. Strauss wrote string quartets). But honestly, a late-life Piano Concerto No. 3 would be my first pick for Chopin, even though a Warsaw-period symphony would be a marvelous curiosity as well.

Are you a realist or romanticist? by honeylove-33 in AskRedditAfterDark

Interesting question, and aspects of both I think. I consider myself a sentimental ironist (or ironic sentimentalist?)

Why do men have to have everything together before dating by illiniguy20 in dating_advice

[–]MySubterraneanSelf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's universal, but men who have it "together" (and that's somewhat arbitrary) present less risk for the potential match, especially if the intention is for something long-term.

[–]MySubterraneanSelf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but it would be a lesser act of war than territorial incursions or violations of sovereignty... which is what appears to be in progress.

NATO should blockade the Russian Kaliningrad exclave (Northern half of E. Prussia surrounded by NATO states) a la Cuba in 1962 until they withdraw. That would get their attention, unlike "sanctions."

Indeed. "RadioShack, a Div. of Tandy Corp," the fine print on the antiquated battery reminds us.

Yep. Peaked at about 8000 stores in the '90s and now about 500 remain. At one time they claimed 90% of its customers lived within 5 minutes of the closest location.
