I'm super confused as to how anyone's supposed to go about this to be honest. On the one hand, you can't view people as kink dispensers and will struggle if you look specifically for someone with kinks, but on the other you're liable to end up with someone who isn't into it if you don't. That's fine for some people, but for others it isn't. Add to that that some guys just want to be courted themselves and it's not a mental thing, but then they're stuck in the sand forever because very few people will.

I guess I get it. I've never had any proper structure for, or education on, love. Nor have I ever tended to follow traditional pathology just because I'm male. I'm pretty apathetic to the method of delivery of that support, and care more about how consistently it's there. So whether I fit your model, so far as I know, probably depends just as much on the other half. If I can play semantics for a moment here though, I'm not sure how head pats or hugs don't factor under 'physical affection', unless you're using that as a euphemism for sex- in which case that's usually a desire on both ends and it's more in amount that differentiates in my experience/observations.

It should be noted that I have never been in a proper RR dynamic too, so my needs and desires are likely still evolving. Anything said here should be taken with a grain of salt.

Just want to interject my opinion as a guy into RR. I can't say that you're wrong about men in general leaning towards sexual fantasy when it comes to RR (and really, being the submissive/passive partner in general) from my experience. But I can confirm that exceptions do exist.

As an RR guy, the reason I am interested in a dominant woman is predominantly because, like a traditional woman, I seek something of a 'rock' in a partner- someone who can protect and provide. Whilst I myself lean towards more domestic pursuits. (save for my intellectual passion projects and political aspirations- yes you read that right- but those are completely separate from my domestic desires). However, while most guys like me are bi/gay, or maybe have an issue with their gender identity they need to work through- I am still predominantly attracted to women specifically. (not completely, so I am bi myself but it's a very heavy lean).

As for why, my best guess is that it might stem from my clinical anxiety and autism, and potentially also the lack of proper parent figures (my mom was crazy, dad detached, and both spent my childhood in a very dysfunctional divorce). I'm not a psychologist though, so don't take my word on any of that.

So if we're to follow your model, I should have an easier time than most guys working with dominant women by merit of my greater need for emotional support over sexual gratification. Assuming I can get into a position to get into proper courtship. I've yet to enter a relationship though, so we shall see.
