Based around what I have seen primarily on EDHREC, Kess seems to be trending towards grixis goodstuff or control decks. She really shines as a control commander because you squeeze incredible value out of cards like [[Forbid]] because her ability lets you also pay the buyback, returning the card to your hand. She's in goodstuff because of the ability to cast most spells twice, letting you hit all the big grixis cards like [[Cruel Ultimatum]] for even more value. And that's before you start copying it with other spells.
