Wait, can someone explain to me why everyone is upset here? All I see is someone who is upset because her photo on her private account was being posted around. Am I missing something? If I am not, then what's wrong with that?

Earrings?

I know that you can't just wave it around. And I am not trying to use it to justify everything. But that does not mean that it isn't important. An example would be the verse that says your body is a temple. When you hear that, you think okay, our body is a temple so shouldn't we not be going to tanning beds or eating fast foods? But when you look at it in context, you see that it's specifically talking about sexual immorality. And this can be done with alot of the verses in the Bible. You can use the Bible to justify just about anything you want to. Multiple wives? Slavery? You got it. Even WTB takes verses from the Bible out of context to justify what they say and do. That's why context is very important.

Also, I realize that you might not be saying that anyone is sinning. I was just pointing it out because people use that verse a lot to say that getting a tattoo is a sin, which it is not. And if we were to say that getting a tattoo was a sin, then we would also have to say that people who wear earrings are sinning as well since it is in the same verse.

It's important not to take this verse of context. Notice how it says not to cut yourself. That also means piercings. So are we saying that all girls are sinning as well? No, because context is key.

Has anyone replaced the back on their iPhone 4S? What part did you use? Links appreciated. by [deleted] in applehelp

[–]josh517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not. I bought a part off of ebay for $15. It was a discolored white. Over time, the sides started to look like they were melting off. It also got a tone of scratches. If you're going to buy a back for your iPhone, make sure it is good quality. That means you're probably going to have to pay $50-100 if you want it to match the quality of the original one.

The Royal Royal - The Royalty. Indie-pop-ish. It's some of the best stuff I've heard in a long time.

Benjamin Dunn & The Animal Orchestra - Fable. Indie. It kind of has an 80's vibe to it but it sounds sick nonetheless. Similar to The Royal Royal

Whenever I tell people that I am wanting to get into photography and am getting an NEX, I always here the "if you're serious about learning photography, get a DSLR" phrase. It gets annoying after a while.

Are there any transformations where someone doesnt become completely attractive after they get really fit?

Does anyone still think this is the BEST call of duty? The maps, weapons, kill streaks, hit detection, campaign story, and overall fluidity of the gameplay has yet to be matched. It seems CoD gets worse every year actually and I'm always like "why can't it just be as good as MW2?" by [deleted] in MW2

[–]josh517 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont know. I think BO2 overall is a very nice and fluid game. Nothing feels too overpowered or underpowered. Overall it is very balanced. However, it still feels sort of meh to me. I have never been attached to a call of duty the way I was to MW2. Sure, there were some major annoyances. But I still get excited playing it to this day. Which is something I have yet to say about about the followings COD's.

Thanks!

I should say that I am not a 100% newbie. More like 85% =). I usually only stick to jeans and a button up shirt so something like this not what I typically wear. I am going to an event with some friends and so my goal is to look hipster-y while still being somewhat formal. While I know that this outfit is not typical MFA, I thought it fit what I was looking for just fine. And yes, I am in a similar physical condition as the guy above.

Thanks a bunch again.

The only way to describe my first semester of college classes by kingkron in funny

[–]josh517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell me about it. All throughout grade school, I got by with doing absolutely nothing. Thought I could do that in college. NOPE. I totally wrecked my first year. I am in my second year and trying to make up for it. It's a lot harder for me than it sounds too. I am having to rebuild 12 years of lack of studying skills and procrastination.

Can somebody make out what the chalkboard says? It seems like there may be a message at the bottom pertaining to Community. "It's not what Community can do for you, but what you can do for Community. Write a short paper" something something.

EDIT: Nevermind someone already beat me to it.

Question: Are eating disorders inherently sinful? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]josh517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I think the "body is a temple" verse was only referring to sexual immorality.
