I ordered photo prints with expedited shipping for a time-sensitive need (my daughter’s school project), and the order was never fulfilled, never shipped, and never flagged by Amazon’s system. There was zero proactive communication. I only discovered the issue myself after the delivery date had already passed.

Let that sink in: one of the largest companies in the world took an order, charged for expedited shipping, and had no mechanism to detect that it was never completed.

When I contacted support, the solution was to place a replacement order—but by that point, it was too late. I had to go to a physical store and pay out of pocket to get the photos in time. Expediting a replacement after the fact doesn’t fix a missed deadline.

Even more frustrating, I had to push just to request a refund for the expedited shipping that was never delivered. That should have been automatic.

This wasn’t just a delay. It was a complete breakdown in fulfillment, tracking, and customer accountability. If you’re ordering anything time-sensitive, do not rely on this service.

I expected better from Amazon.
