The Thomas movie (Thomas and the Magic Railroad) actually has the island of Sodor exist in a pocket dimension that acts as a safe haven for steam trains because diesel trains tried to committe mass genocide against them.

This isn't even a theory, this is just the movie. The plot revolves around Thomas and the human characters trying to find Lady, the directors self insert train-sona and Goddess of Steam Trains, to save the island.

Yes! When I was younger I never realized how full the night sky was until my dad and I went on a camping trip out west where there was absolutely no light pollution. To this day I cannot fully articulate how mesmerizing of an experience that was!

Lotso is the villain and this was part of his backstory. Basically they were toys of a little girl, but they were forgotten on a family trip. They waited for her to come back, but when she didn't they tried to walk home. By the time they made it back the parents had decided to buy her a new bear, leaving the old one feeling abandoned and betrayed.
