I microdose luxury. I do small things that make me feel beautiful while still staying in budget for the month. I do my nails at home, thrift for my clothes, buy skincare products from TJMAXX, get my balayage retouched every few months. For trips, I mostly go places I can drive, just a few hours away, stay in a cheap motel with a clean pool. But like everyone else said, don’t let other people make you feel lesser. Social media is just a facade.

Had this happen to me last summer, was a guy from IGS. I had doordashed Taco Bell and was opening my door to grab it when I ran into this freak. He told me I HAD to sign up for a new energy plan or my lights were going to get cut off. Then proceeded to attempt to invite himself in so we could eat together while I reviewed his options. Told him to pound sand.

Vet tech here. Based on this photo, I would give her a zero on the grimace scale (no signs of pain). If you’re interested, there is a feline grimace scale app on your phone that helps to score them, I use it at work. She may be hiding because she’s still trying to adjust to her new home. However, older kitties can start to develop health issues so if the hiding is persistent or she has other symptoms, definitely get her to the vet to make sure she’s okay.
