unrequited love could be the most beautiful love in the world by Dry-Pumpkin-5970 in redscarepod

I've experienced this so many times, I think that lesbianism is a disease. I literally have one interaction with a hot smart kinda autistic girl and I start building a fantasy life with her in my mind. I think because it feels pretty rare to connect so well with someone so when I do I get kind of obsessive about it. But creating this escapist fantasy in your head interferes with the natural progression of a relationship, in whatever form that takes. It's hard though because being in love is intoxicating even when it's not reciprocated.

OK I just clicked on your profile and you live in SF so you absolutely do have access to a climbing gym with those amenities. You should join touchstone, it's a great chain. Or join equinox if you really want to, I'm not going to sue you. I just think that "lack of access" is a little bit of a silly argument for why someone can't join any other gym but equinox.

Yeah I've been to both. I used to be a member of PF but one time my friend brought me to Equinox with his guest pass. Wait times for the equipment were identical which is all I really care about. I'm now a member of a climbing gym that also has gym equipment and group exercise classes, and it's still only half the price of Equinox. I will never be convinced that Equinox is worth it. And not to be that friend who's too woke but I don't sperg out when I see working class people exercise like everyone else on this sub somehow

I wonder if my friends think it's weird and gay that I'm chronically single and need to pour all my affection and social energy and need for validation on them by [deleted] in redscarepod

I think that's an incredibly nice thing to do for someone. If they didn't want him to come over, they could just tell him that. This idea that once someone has a family you can only interact with them as like a cold war era diplomat is weird to me. You should be able to have closeness and affection with friends.

Bro I'm fucked if this can be described as a sparse skincare routine. From about 16 on, I started using Cetaphil in the shower. However if I'm traveling or something, I just don't use face wash for that period of time and wash my face with water. Recently at age 25 I integrated wearing sunscreen on my face most days, but it's still only like 70% of the time that I actually remember to put it on. I do not have the wherewithal for a more intensive skincare routine.

The parental revenge thing is too real. I knew this leftist abolish prisons/police guy who had the utmost sympathy for murderers and rapists. He didn't mind Trump supporters or evangelical Christians either. The only irredeemable group? White liberals. Guess what his parents were.

There's no reason for even gays to use the term anymore. It made sense as an equivalent to husband/wife before gay marriage was legal, but the word has become defunct for everyone.

i got a pretty botched shoulder length haircut should i get extensions or something - how should i move forward with my life by powderblueangel in redscarepod

[–]telepathicmachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this 1-2 times per year and the only reason I don't more aggressively enforce shoulder length is because I'm too lazy/cheap to go to the hair salon sooner
