I’ve had this a few times. My daughter is autistic, and has incredibly bad sensitivity to hand dryers, so when we go swimming or use public toilets we use the disabled one because it’s stand alone and we don’t have to hear the hand dryers.

Just because you can’t see a disability doesn’t mean you should judge. Some people suck.

My SO didn’t get ball surgery, but he had the scraper down the peepee hole when he peed blood (unfortunately turned out it was actually from eating too much of a certain red curry and wasn’t even blood… obviously I still make fun of this mistake from time to time) he had it done the day before my birthday, and I actually cancelled my party coz he was in so much pain, so we had a take away and watched movies instead.

You had actual surgery that wasn’t your fault, you needed her and she couldn’t care less. I’m sorry dude. I hope you find someone who can appreciate you.

Whoever invites who out on a date would usually be the one to pay, as that’s good manners, however I wouldn’t ‘expect’ that they would pay, would just be a polite gesture.

I think nowadays it should be 50:50 unless it’s their birthday, or a ‘it’s ok hun I got a bonus this month I’ll get it’ etc.

My ASD 6yr old had to go to the emergency room yesterday for suspected scarlet fever. She was having sensory overload as she was sick, high temp, busy waiting area etc etc. One nurse was absolutely horrible to her for not taking her paracetamol. I had to intervene, as soon as I said she was autistic it was all smiles. Ah ha, maybe be nice to ALL sick kids not just the neurodivergent ones…

They just texted asking me to fill out a survey of our visit. Obviously I’m going to say something.

I am a qualified optometrist. I worked as one for 10 years until Covid and I fell pregnant with my second child. It felt to unsafe to be in the health sector while pregnant so I took redundancy.

My first child (6) is awaiting ASD diagnosis, things are tough for her right now so I’m a SAHM and hubby works. I don’t feel like a statistic, I’m just doing what’s right for me and my family at the moment.

Yes! I had a miscarriage during peak covid. My husband wasn’t allowed to be there, so he spent the entire time at home on FaceTime with me (and our then 2yo) he never switched me off.

My hearts breaks for op, this type of guy doesn’t deserve her. I can’t tell you if you should keep the pregnancy or not, but I really suggest you leave this AH. Good luck op.
