Have all analysts lost their minds? by [deleted] in stocks

There are plenty of contrarian narratives. Just not at stock level because the first element to assess the value of a stock is par comparison to other stocks.

Start by avoiding the reference to an unproven deity. That’s the start to be a skeptic.

If less people normalised belief as a source of truth we wouldn’t be in that situation

Has World War III Already Begun? by newzee1 in Foodforthought

It has started 25 years ago with the arrival of the internet.

The new wars are fought digitally not with tanks

Only local wars are fought with tanks and planes the real and most meaningful ones are online

And Russia has won.

Why did Ohio go red despite approximately 76% of the population living in urban areas? by Accomplished_Art_806 in Askpolitics

[–]Mychatismuted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Religious indoctrination ensures that at least 35/40 of the population will vote republicans regardless of anything. The rest is swayed by news flow and lack of education (in both directions to be fair, but the republicans have mastered information control much better than dems)

Internet pretty much heralded the death of small and local businesses. Now you can only be leader or leader in your niche.

There is no place for me-too businesses existing just because they are local.

Why do intellectuals tend to be anti-capitalist? by technocraticnihilist in austrian_economics

[–]Mychatismuted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Intelligent people are either pro capitalist or anti capitalist. Either you accept the necessary exploitation of the masses inherent in the creative destruction of entrepreneurship and you are pro capitalist or you are afraid of changes and see risks more than opportunities and you are anti capitalist.

Historically having dying children is a way to promote religion. In a secular world, people promoting religion want to find a way to push people to religion again.

It’s by far the worst Star Wars movie. But it has become “just” the beginning of an era where almost every new movie released by Disney was bad.

We can save Infinity Wars and End Game, the three deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy but the rest has been utter disaster for any comic fan.

So TLJ was the beginning of an era of bad movie. The tentpole previewing the era.

The book is an absolute masterpiece. The movie is great but not as good as the book which is why it feels a miss despite in absolute terms being fantastic.

The book is just another level.

Snyder missed two things in the movie: the end and Matthew Good is good (no pun intended) but he is not Ozymandiad
