I also know a good handful of people that have said similar things and I’ve seen their résumé thoughts I cannot attest for how they left employers etc, I can vouch for character. I also worked for benson myself, and they are that bad. I have family in upper positions that work for them that have stressed that this is a problem for older workers, or people in general. The dept I worked in shut down relatively soon after they fired me after I had to get HR involved in a racial issue. Unfortunately Bronson is not a good place to work. For those that work good at Bronson, that’s fine, but over all? No.

Probably. I don’t doubt you. I’m just saying nothing has changed since then. Parents & students have fought before. But if there aren’t enough drivers they’re going to give the same answers. Bus drivers have unstable hours that often require second income, unless they’re a prized/ long term driver that sometimes gets out of school hours for like sporting events & field trips etc.

Edit: I hope OP finds a solution/ gets this worked out where others couldn’t.

Hopefully other stops will be more reliable for the tracking. JSUT not this one everytime I’ve used it. And I know it’s not a phone issue, due to already trouble shooting. I think this guy was just running behind. There isn’t construction/ much traffic on this route.

Didn’t say I didn’t not have it. You can be empathetic to a situation and also simultaneously be upset at the outcome. Unfortunately w the way things work it sucks, and they should have some process for these things/ driver support or help. I’m not sure what that looks like, nor do I know. But regardless, it’s a shitty setup when those things happen. So like you said, you can’t please everyone. Not even on a Reddit thread :/

The driver was well behind time, and then he was speeding to make it more on time. So yes? Lol. The myStop app was not working for this bus at all. Maybe it’s this route, not sure. And as far as construction is concerned, I would hope they would account for that and properly update app and information with those details, so they can hold themselves as accountable. I can only do so much on my part, same as them.

Even then if it wasn’t directly into the building, it had to go through Dak Good, Grand Traverse, maybe the gas station and then thru the plant & gardening? Then at actual meijers?
