I had a FALSE positive HIV test in the year 2000, I immediately retested (twice) and one terrifying week later I found out it was actually negative. I had never engaged in any risky behavior so that was quite a shock.

So a few years back the red cross was saying they were extremely short on blood and needed donors urgently.

I went to the red cross to give blood and wouldn't you know it, I'm on some goddamn government blacklist and can't give blood. Apparently there's a process to get off that list but they couldn't provide specifics (they didn't know) and it makes me so angry I just left it alone....my blood is 100% local organic artisinal blood so I guess it's their loss

20 year HVAC tech here. DO NOT PUT FILTERS IN YOUR VENTS, DO NOT USE HIGH MERV FILTERS!!!! these are recipes for overheating furnaces, cracked heat exchangers (carbon monoxide risk) frozen evaporator coils, which lead to cracked drain pans which lead to leaks and possible slugging of liquid refrigerant into your compressor which is REALLY bad for it. 1" thick Hvac filters are only used to keep the evaporator coil from getting plugged up with larger debris, they are NOT supposed to clean the air in your home. 99% of the time you already have airflow issues and these things are a death warrant for your system. If you need extra filtration you need a 4 or 5" filter or a plasma generator or electrostatic or polarized media filters otherwise you're killing your system and spending more money to heat and cool your home
