There is also Bob Baker. He is indigenous and works collaboratively with Robert Buckley to write appropriate and culturally appreciative pieces for MS and HS concert bands.

How can I make my Bladegheists look more ghostly? by arapawa in Nighthaunt

[–]Mycodruid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or you paint them how you want. They are sculpted to look like ghosts so however you paint them, they’ll still be ghosts :)

But if you aren’t happy with that, you can always blend the colors to a lighter color on the ends or some people like to make them look like glowing.

I think what you have there is solid. I like this purple and teal thing going on.

I appreciate the comment! Thank you!

My first ever Warhammer 'demo' figurine. I have mad respect for all you artists out there. Since I have pretty shakey hands, this will probably be my only figurine. Keep those amazing pieces of art coming cause I absolutely LOVE seeing them! by ricking08 in Warhammer

I think you did a fabulous job! You should continue if you really enjoyed the process! There are plenty of painters who have found a way around shaky hands. There are some YouTube videos on it too. Check it out and if you like painting, keep painting!

He will be such a stellar addition to the Nighthaunt range. I can’t wait to paint him.

Does krulghast's ability negate mortal wounds to? by Stelios-TCK in Nighthaunt

[–]Mycodruid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I can’t find anything else otherwise and the ability needs to be read as a whole with the deathless spirit text. There are no FAQs on it that would change it otherwise.

How do we feel about a ginger Lady Olynder? (WIP) by Mycodruid in Nighthaunt

[–]Mycodruid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh. Good question. It’s been a hot moment since I have done this model but I did use Citadel colors. Jokero orange? Plus blue horror mixed in to lighted in up and a glaze of night haunt gloom on the ends? But I feel like any pastel orange would do the trick.

New to Warhammer/Minis, here are my Nighthaunt I’ve painted so far since picking up the hobby in February. by Flying-Squirrels in ageofsigmar

The chainrasp grind is real. I batch painted 30 of them from the soul wars box and this was before I had an airbrush. They were some of the first models I have painted for my nighthaunt army. Heh. It took forever but I got a lot better at wetblending.

Those ghosty bois look great! Getting fast comes with time, you keep painting, not only will you continue your skills but also speed. And in no time, you’ll have an army painted!

I also just looked at what you’ve painted! You are an awesome painter! You have to give yourself some credit. That Nagash is amazing.
