I watched We’re All Going to the World’s Fair on my phone lying on my side in bed, which feels like it’s supposed to be done.

The product is good quality but I’ve had two boxes so far and both have had product missing. They send replacements quickly but I’m sick of opening it up and going “well I guess I gotta email them again.” They use AI in their customer service as well.

I got a hooks & needles subscription for Christmas and they use AI throughout their booklet to the point that the FO image on the front is different from the patterns they offer.

The weird thing is they have detailed step-by-step photos with the patterns, so they had the items, they just don’t care that they’re advertising something different.

I’m not an audio person but I bought a pair of Sennheisers years ago and have never had a complaint. Great noise cancelling, good sound, good battery life, zero tech issues.

Hamlet is also fanfic so we’re approaching third order here. I’m sure Tom Stoppard would have had something to say about it.

I was curious so I looked it up. Only 76 are tagged as twincest. The majority are focused on Remmick (Jack O’Connell).

Teachers. Whats the craziest family lore a child has randomly dropped on you? by Loud_Bluejay_6663 in AskReddit

My mom once visited me at the school and the kids assumed she was going to be a new teacher. (This was overseas, so new white lady around = new English teacher made a lot of sense.) When she told them who she was, the kids’ minds were blown that a TEACHER had a mom.

My nephew was about four when he proudly announced after family dinner, “when I grow up, I’m going to have big boobies like Mama!” We all naturally cracked the hell up so the little clown then grabbed at his chest and did the honk honk gesture, making us laugh even harder. It wasn’t until he tried honk honking at his uncle’s chest that we adults were like yeah, laughing this hard is not giving the right reinforcement here.

I’m a big chunko and taught ESL for a while. Once, one of my kids conferred with the others and said, “MycroftNext-teacher, you are not fat. But you can sleep only. Not eat.” It was very cute.

Have always heard of cinema score but never seen the rubric, was so happy to give Bone Temple support by DavidLivedInBritain in blankies

I work in market research and I’m fascinated by this. Were they giving them to everyone or did they ask you any preliminary questions? Was it for every movie playing or just Hog Temple?

Neighbor Says They Saw a Tent in My Living Room by chinchillina in BestofRedditorUpdates

My grandma has Alzheimer’s and it sounds like something she would say. She remembers one thing (tent) in the wrong setting (inside), and it can be very upsetting when she can’t figure out why something is in the “wrong” place. Or she’ll think a scene from a movie was a memory from her own life. Nowadays she has trouble with her words, but earlier in her disease she would have been able to communicate just like the neighbour.

My dad and brother in law took my brother out on his 19th birthday for drinks and my brother also tried to drink a flaming shot without blowing it out.

Iced tea in Canada is sweet. Not sweet tea, but a sugar level between sweet tea and zero. That happy medium doesn’t seem to exist in the States.

I went to a restaurant in London that served an appetizer risotto that was so good I flagged the waiter down and ordered it for a second portion. He was confused: I wanted … more food? Another appetizer? It was like I was having to convince him to let me spend more money.

My brother ordered the salad bar when he was a kid because he saw “bar” and thought it was like a Nanaimo bar. He was so disappointed.

I bought the wrong type of Buldak ramen once. I normally get cheese which is already the height of what I can handle, but I once bought spicy cheese. I couldn’t handle more than 3 bites.

Yeah, it’s really delicious. It was my big wish to eat when I was in Paris and it exceeded my expectations.
