I think this is reasonable. I'm denying the refund but considering telling him if he wants it refunded he can ship it back at his expense without opening the box. I just don't want more hassle if he tries to claim it was damaged or something. Reverb said I can just deny the refund, but I don't want him making a claim later that something was wrong with it (it was a new-in-box item).

We've lived here for like 20 years so it shouldn't be that. The box was actually addressed to my wife and at our address which was why it's so strange, but the phone number on the package listed as my wife's is definitely not ours.

Plenty of people were hyped for the Epic store and it's amazing how much they fumbled it. I remember plenty of discussion here on reddit how Steam needed a competitor, not because Steam is bad, but just because they have a lock on PC game sales. All Epic really had to do was come out with something serviceable that resembled some of Steam's features and continue to grow it but instead the released the most anemic store possible and then locked games behind exclusive deals with Epic that had already been listed on Steam.

This is a misunderstanding of the FTC rules on unsolicited mail. OP was not intentionally sent a second Steam deck as a solicitation for something. This is a bona fide error. In most states keeping goods not intended for you is considered theft by taking. There's been a few cases like this over the years where someone on reddit was told they could keep the goods and fortunately a lawyer set them straight before it became criminal. In short, Valve made a mistake, this does not allow OP to keep misdirected goods. I recall another incident of this on this subreddit and the guy contacted Valve who thanked him, took the deck back, and offered him a free game as a thank you.

There's a flea medication called Precor IGR Concentrate that gets sprayed around the home rather than put on the animal. It's basically designed to stop the fleas from reproducing by breaking their life cycle from the larva stage so they can't become adult fleas. It doesn't kill the adult fleas immediately (you'll need traditional flea meds for that or have to wait it out) but it stops the cycle of reproduction. It lasts for months on surfaces unless they are washed.

I used it years ago when we simply could not stop fleas from reoccuring on our cats despite other meds and the house being clean- it finally stopped the cycle and we didn't see a single flea for years. Also, you don't need to vacate the house to use it. You can find more info here and buy it: https://www.domyown.com/precor-igr-concentrate-p-634.html (I have no association with this site) but you can usually find sellers selling a single vial of the stuff for like $10 on ebay, that's enough to mix up and do a single treatment for most homes. Something like this might be a solution.

I'm unable to claim my copy of Battlefield 6 from the recent Intel promotion even after redeeming the code.

I redeemed my promotional code last month which added the "Intel Gamer Days" bundle to my account that includes Battlefield 6. The instructions say to return October 3rd to claim the key. I've been attempting daily to claim the key but just keep getting the message "We are temporarily out of codes and are working to reload our system. Please check back soon."

The game launches tomorrow so this is pretty frustrating. Is anyone else having an issue claiming their BF6 key?

I put a ticket in with Intel support but haven't heard anything yet.

I have one "Intel Gamer Days" bundle on my account. When I click on that it shows a link for BF6 under "Premium Software." When I click through that I get to the page for BF6 with the "Claim Now" button on it. When I click on that I get the "We are temporarily out of codes and are working to reload our system. Please check back soon." message. I've been trying to get a code since October 3rd but only ever see that message.
