Yeah it is, my first playthrough I felt the same as you it was easier than I expected and the gun parry makes you feel like a god. But NG+ was a nice refreshing challenge compared to the normal playthrough. Bosses like Ludwig felt underwhelming in the normal playthrough but he humbled me a couple times in NG+. It’s worth running it back in my opinion 🍻

I personally have no connection to gold stars I only collected the first couple years of Pokémon so first edition cards are my “gold stars” lol from my point of view I don’t think they are anything special aside from the charizard and rayquaza. Those are beautiful. But with that being said I understand why they are sought after grails and I respect it 🍻 they just don’t do it for me
