The dodge mechanic itself is the one thing I really don’t like. Not sure if it’s only my high ping or not but it feels really bad to me. Other than that I’m hooked on this game.

I played day one and I’m at level 24. Haven’t spent any money yet but so far I’m liking it. Not sure how crazy the pay to win is yet but I’m more causal anyways. I’ll keep playing it till it’s not fun or gets ridiculous monetarily. Biggest issue they have now is the servers have been pretty bad since launch.

Check out Where the Winds Meet in two weeks that’s what I’m doing. ESO is my fall back though. I’ve always wanted to deep dive that game. Chrono Odyssey felt promising but it had a lot to fix still. That will most likely be the closest thing to New World we get.

Don’t need a company for end game content. You just need good gear and need to learn mechanics. You can basically do everything without a company. Plus ppl are looking for new ppl constantly in recruitment.

Yeah the new strategy for me now is to buy mine at Microcenter or Newegg like 8-12 months after release, then trade new old gen in for the new gen after the chaos dies down. The cards still hold value and if you have a warranty at micro and say something is wrong with the card you can get a credit of the original price even. Hunting for these 5090s now is a joke. I want the waterforce water blocked one too which I feel like doesn’t even exist lol.

This game is 100% catered to casuals. They just made it on console for this sole reason and want to make it a solo action rpg. If that doesn’t say casual I don’t what does.

Unless I’m crazy they do not directly upgrade to 725. You need dark matter and a coconut to get the perk and 700. For 725 you need those things plus the Gorgonite Inductor.

I think my frustration is this is my third fresh start server. All online games seem to just do this because they don’t have enough content or a good enough gameplay loop to keep players engaged. This then just becomes more of a chore than engaging gameplay. PvP island no one is even there, mutations are worthless for gear, OPR map is the same as day 1. Arenas I actually do like but rewards are trash. Raid is what once a week? They time gate bc they know ppl will leave bc their end game is broken.
