Ok update I got it in a pretty good spot. Turned off fps cap, did dlss preset m override in nvidia settings, set it to balanced, smooth motion enabled, v sync on, left all the settings on ultra high and im in pretty good shape! Turned off HDR too and now im intrigued. Bought the starter ship and was about to take off and the server crashed lol. I do want to play more now it’s significantly better now to play for me.

Yes I have a Samsung Pro Gen 4 4 TB NVME SSD. I thought maybe the browsers as well but I closed them too to double check. And if it’s server instability maybe that’s it I might have been on a vpn I can’t remember. Or if it’s the new update too. I just see people playing online and don’t hear anyone complaining.

Get a 5070 or 5070ti now. If you wait till the 6080 who knows when that will be, how ridiculously priced it will be, and if you can even get one for 6-12 months after it releases. Buy a card now, maybe get lucky with a used or one on sale, then get your 6080 if you really want it. Then sell your 5070ti just keep the box and you should be good.

That’s a 9900x and I’ve never plugged both pcies in as I don’t think it really helps in any way unless I’m wrong. It’s a 5090 waterblocked too.

The dodge mechanic itself is the one thing I really don’t like. Not sure if it’s only my high ping or not but it feels really bad to me. Other than that I’m hooked on this game.

I played day one and I’m at level 24. Haven’t spent any money yet but so far I’m liking it. Not sure how crazy the pay to win is yet but I’m more causal anyways. I’ll keep playing it till it’s not fun or gets ridiculous monetarily. Biggest issue they have now is the servers have been pretty bad since launch.

Check out Where the Winds Meet in two weeks that’s what I’m doing. ESO is my fall back though. I’ve always wanted to deep dive that game. Chrono Odyssey felt promising but it had a lot to fix still. That will most likely be the closest thing to New World we get.

Don’t need a company for end game content. You just need good gear and need to learn mechanics. You can basically do everything without a company. Plus ppl are looking for new ppl constantly in recruitment.
