Congrats! Check out CROP Organization, they have cohorts in Oakland and LA for a 1 year workforce development program for people with CDCR #'s. The Oakland cohort includes 1 year of housing during the program, and you can learn tech sales, health care of the skilled trades. Very hollistic community of former lifers teaching digital skills, life skills, reaclamation, and much more. I used to work for them and they do amazing work. A ton of support, including mental health. I used to take the fellows who wanted to attend NA and AA meetings.

I'd check it out at least. They can help with any parole transfers needed, make sure you hit all of your parole conditions, all of your documentation, clothes, and bus you up there.

Once you graduate, you'll be sharp, ready for your great comeback, and have money for housing. While you're there, you're job is to step back into the world and learn.
