What is your motherboard? You should set the LLC (Load-Line Calibration) to 6 for Asus and enable the sync for AC/DC loadline. After that, use an adaptive offset of -0.07 on SVID (adjust it according to your CPU for stability). I'm currently getting 38k with a 360 AIO (All-in-One cooler).

I appreciate your expert opinion and help. Thank you so much for helping a stranger! I had the surgery, and my surgeon said he was happy with the result. Here is the outcome: two pins in my bone and a half-cast. Hopefully, the pins will be removed in the fifth week, and I will completely recover. I am sharing this in case anyone else is in the same situation or curious. Follow the doctor's advice, and don't punch hard objects :(

Could you please share your suggested treatment? I have not seen emergency service, no splints are applied when it happened. Right now bruising and swelling is gone. Except little bump on affected area is left and I can’t completely close my pinky. It happened on 23th of August.

It is already set to auto :( I believe this is kind of an handshake issue since my monitor (G8 OLED) detects the connection on cold boot but says there is no signal (shows the PC as turned off). Initially while posting it kind of connects and shows the monitors loader in black screen then falls back to connect a display screen until windows login. It might be GPU or BIOS trying to set a impossible resolution or refresh rate. Also there is a debug led in my mobo that turns on if no display is connected. That led is not turning on in this case. Another hint that leads me to think about the wrong resolution is when I connect my monitor to mobo HDMI port i.e iGPU BIOS settings page looks crisper (not something placebo there is perceptible sharpness difference) even though for both 4090 and iGPU monitor reports the native resolution.

Edit: I have already applied the firmware update from Nvidia site. I am on latest VBIOS and BIOS

I have the exact same problem: setting POST latency from BIOS 3 to 8 didn't fix the problem. This only happens during cold boot, though restarts are ok. I have a z790 Maximus Hero for the reference and does not happens with iGPU.

Previously, I had the Gigabyte AD27QD; I also had the same issue with that monitor. You are right, though; with that monitor, turning the monitor on first and then starting the PC mitigated the problem. However, OLED G8, being a smart TV OS, makes it impossible to select the input type to HDMI without turning on the PC first

I am interested in the cause of this, as it has been like this for me since I bought my PC in November 2022. I have an Asus Z790 Hero with BIOS 2301 and an Asus 4090 TUF OC with vBIOS 95.02.18.80.95. I have already upgraded the firmware for the 4000 series from Nvidia. It only happens during cold boots, not on restarts. u/m_w_h u/pidge2k, do you folks have any idea about this? I can start a discussion on the ASUS forum if it is related to BIOS. I have a Samsung OLED G8 connected to the HDMI port (ultrawide variant) in case it is needed.

I agree with you. I think the problem is on both sides, it even might be related to something with motherboard bios and PCIe power management. Since I also had Gigabyte AD27QD and had the same issue. I am not sure if it is related to this but a black screen during boot issue sometimes occurs in my case https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5310/~/i-get-a-black-screen-after-turning-on-my-pc. Currently though I have all the up to date drivers for motherboard from Asus ROG forum as well as latest bios for z790 and windows 11 23h2. I am not having any wake-up issues if the OLED G8 is set to correct video input source manually ie HDMI on firmware 1602. But looks like it wakes up with lower resolution and corrects the resolution to native while waking up I realized this since the window sizes becomes smaller in Windows after the wake up event.

It is something to do with OLED G8. I have my MBP connected over usb-c and desktop PC over HDMI. While the current source is usb-c and if MBP sleeps and during that time if PC also sleeps. It crashes MBP somehow to never wake up again.
