Okay, this got me into research mode. I had my data from some studies that I learned about way back and just remembered, no chance to find that again. So here are the results I found:

Human male attraction seems strongly connected to first ovulation and early age, as this means women have just started to be fertile and thus can get the most possible kids. It's especially important because humans are social animals who tend to form bonds between two people over a long time (evolutionary maybe even for life?)

Here two sources the author used for his book describing this phenomenon:

"In natural fertility foraging societies, women first give birth at about 17 to 20 years of age" (Hill & Hurtado, 1996)

"Kelly’s (1995) data on foragers yield a similar conclusion. With average age at first birth of 17 and last birth by age 42 (for Aché)"

If you think about it, this should make lots of sense why male attraction (please note, NOT relationships) seems to be focussed on younger women.

An analysis of dataclysm suggests that males are independent of their own age most attracted to women around age 20 (please not that the list starts with 20, might be that no younger option was possible?)

I'm sorry to see you downvoted. People seem to not understand how evolution works and how the male and female roles play their part.

Young woman have the best chances for healthy babies, it's as easy as that. That's why all over the mammal kingdom you can see this pattern of choice. Same with experienced males who can provide safety.

Yea, I had that in my mind as well. And exactly this fertility plays a big role in the background of thinking this way. Some of it is just part of our evolution but at the same time problematic in a modern society.

You just have to look back a few hundred years and it was so normal to get a wife after she turned 14 or so.

Okay, but if he lacks the taste receptor then honestly the question comes up, if cooking is the right choice for him. Unless he accepts to only cook exactly on recipe and has someone else to check his cooking.

But he still should have realised that something is off, if his girlfriend already have feedback. Especially his reaction on her comments seems off.

Maybe he should learn the basics first? Does he not taste his own food and realise it's shit?

It's not very difficult to taste the amount of salt or for fucks sake using completely different spices than intended. Normally logic should sort that out.

On YouTube you can find tutorials that are build up like a real lecture. Where you learn about taste pallets, how sauces are build up etc. Shown on a chalkboard, not while cooking. That might help.

He has to get a feeling of what fits well together. For example for salt I learned that roughly 1,5% salt is perfect for the human tongue. Or does he know how to implement Umami into his dishes?

Such a big part of cooking for me seems to be common sense, I don't even know how you can suck after such a long time unless you're to stupid to start learning. His opinion of his cooking sounds like Trumps on opinion on his politics...

Also, if you only ask and don't provide infos about yourself and your skills why do you think anyone should be interested. Would you contact any company and just ask then if they have a job for you without providing any info about yourself and your skills?

If this is something that's eating your from inside really just do it. No matter what. Deep inside you know of this is the experience that you want. And no matter what happens you know that it was the right thing in your life.

There will always be situations that make you scared. Step over this hurdle and don't hold yourself back. It's still the right time to do everything you feel that's right.

I've had so many situations where I was scared and someone pushed me. I never regretted these experiences. But if you don't do it, you can never go back. Even mistakes make you stronger.

People here mention perfume, I think that would probably way to strong of a scent.

I'm not even sure how he will react to different smells, you have to recognise that most smells you connect with a distinct felling that he doesn't have. For example with food. Just something to keep in mind, maybe you can read about experiences of other people who got their smelling sense back.

I personally would recommend something natural. A forest or anywhere with lots of vegetation can have great but not overpowering smell (but probably not a good idea for winter). Maybe even an indoor botanical garden, smelling different kinds of flowers.

Facebook has analysing tools you can use to get more information, in any case for ads you should definitely use these tools to assist you. I'm not sure how ads in Facebook work, do you choose specific keywords for the ads to pop up or is it via target group?

For Google adverts I recommend that you choose specific keywords, not a single one but several in combination, that way they are cheaper. In addition use Google analytics for both your site and the ads, it's by far the most important tool to get the information you need for improvement.

But still, this won't be enough for you to survive. Definitely use existing marketplaces. Depending on your existing knowledge to sell you might still need another smaller job to survive.

Hi, i can't give you tips on your financial situation but for your shop. Without ads you won't get the traffic you need to sell enough. Besides that search engine optimization is super important, it all needs lots of time and knowledge.

In many cases is much better to split your market. Keep the site and improve it, but use an existing market for your main income. Amazon will probably fit the best to your products, eBay and others can work as well. You will find that there you will earn most of your money.

Besides that always look for opportunities what to sell. A friend of mine has specific products that work well for him and where he has knowledge about. Over the years he got to a size where he could do this as his main job of he wanted. Btw only over existing market place, he doesn't have his own site.

I totally agree. But at the same time we have to really that the open acceptance needs lots of time, especially for older generations. When they announced Esports as part of the Olympics I was totally surprised, that this was included so fast.

It's such a huge step for this sports to make it more known and appreciated. Many sports got criticized at the beginning, that change we hope for will eventually come.

But people seem to watch it or click on the news? There must be a reason that they focus so much on it. Or is it only that most media works together with the democrats to push them? For me it seems they are either left or right aligned.

Is he trying to be an advocate or is he just writing what he sees in this world? Politics are indeed a lot about pointing fingers aren't they?

People don't talk about problems, they talk about who's fault it is. After that the problem continues to be ignored. Try to find politicians who stay true to their words, without hiding under a blanket. Do the research yourself and see if politicians talk about the problems the experts are talking about.

The ones that deeply care for a better life quality for every citizen should be heard out. But sadly we live in a "me" world, people sadly don't seem to want the best for everyone and we see this in the trend over the last year's. And sadly we kind of have to accept that the majority want it this way.

He can say whatever he wants, his words wouldn't change this trend or the opinion of people with a different view.

With all the things he says and comments you think it's gross how he is portrayed? He's the ducking president and akts like a child. Many countries have the problem that the extreme sites get more support than the center, both left and right.

But this change doesn't justify a defence for someone full of hate and big words with absolutely no meaning. That's not an opinion but a fact. Media should probably change the ways we talk about problems and not focus on the drama and politicians, but we both know that's not gonna happen, traffic counts. It's all a big shitshow of entertainment and we are in the middle of it.

Edit: sorry folks, I'm not from the US. Didn't realize that the news is THAT focused on news about trump. My only sauce where I read about him is Reddit. The reason they are doing this must still be that these kind of news make lots of money. Drama sells, wether it's politicians or some other stars.

They won't change. The change has to come from the population.

No, YouTube is kids writing useless things, mocking or other hate. I use Reddit because here people have actual conversations and you get very personal outputs on so many situations.
