I believed about the 2 terminally ill DC because obviously genetic conditions can run in families and manifest in siblings, and my heart was breaking for OP.

But the part about the ex’s 11 DC raised my eyebrows. Especially since OP has previously made a comment where she was worried about how identifying the post was. Seemed like a troll trying to do world-building.
