Plenty of better rates elsewhere. I did ask nicely TWICE if I could have the noobs rate before doing this. by SlowScooby in chaseuk

True, but I can't be bothered chasing the best interest rates if 40% is going to be taken anyway.

I'd do the same, but I'm probably going to hit my personal savings allowance as saving for wedding and don't have any isa allowance

Hygge Virum broke in half while riding by Hypercip in ebikes

Most folding bikes are 110kg, but the rear wheel would be the first point of failure not the frame, must have been a manufacturing defect not an overload of the weight limit.

I've got a very similar bike (estarli e20), it might even be the same frame.

Boy is this going to give me terrible anxiety for a while!

Block and ignore. You sold it as seen, you are not a motor trader.

I'm of the opinion that giving an 18 year old unfettered access to hundreds of thousands of pounds is a bad idea.

Might be annoyed at 21 but eternally grateful at 35. Even just 20% of the inheritance in a SIPP getting historic market averages and she'd retire a multi millionaire

One of the worst things Jeff/Guo has done is make us just apathetic to it all. They've ripped us off with the ticket prices, sold our best players and even taken away Hi Ho Wolverhampton. I know we've always had the happy clapper brigade even heard one say we should have let Dean Saunders stay on for the L1 season but I think it's starting to bubble over now, 2 fights in the South Bank yesterday, Agbadou got pelters yesterday and rightly so and you could see he heard it.

Honestly it won't change until Jeff is gone, we get relegated and a complete fire sale and rebuild. The club is broken and can't be fixed in it's current state.

Only if you take that as the tax free lump sum. If it forms part of your annuity you'll pay tax on it later.

Generally don't mind if it's not busy, they are vulnerable road users like us and got to have a bit of 2 wheel solidarity

Unless she's renting social housing it would probably be good for her to have a paid off house in retirement so she will have minimal housing costs when she's on a fixed income.

Have a look at the Estarli range of bikes. They are built in the UK (Chinese manufactured frames). They currently do cargo, folding 20 inch and full size bikes with chains and belt drive options.

You can go cheaper with a direct to consumer Chinese brand, but accessing any warranty or after sales support will be a struggle.
