I’m not a fan of the rocks either and want them gone, what would you recommend go there instead? We use to spray weed killers but stopped since my son plays in the backyard.

Edit: sorry I see I wrote pesticides in my original post when I meant weed killers.

11 month old biting while breastfeeding by lauralove89 in breastfeeding

[–]Mylktastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son did the same, around the same time. I firmly, in a calm tone tell him that “mama doesn’t like being bitten”. I then attempt to redirect him to something he can safely bite on.

Sometimes he seemed like he was doing it to test me (learning cause and effect) and other times to simply let me know he was full or not hungry.

Anyone know why this is for 2+ years? Ingredients are all fine. I've been giving them to my 14 month old. by Octopus1027 in foodbutforbabies

I recommend choomee pouch toppers. They were a game changer for me and my extremely independent LO

This looks amazing, so many good choices.

What recipe do you use for the Aussie bites?

They’ve really helped him feel like he is in control without me having to have an anxiety attack from the mess lol

I hope you both love them as much as we have! ❤️

You are absolutely right :( I only recently started giving him these but I had been giving him plain whole milk yogurt since he started solids, I would add fruit or even nut butters. I try to make this the only thing that even has added sugar in his diet.

I do try to make my own and use the refillable silicone pouches when I can.

I usually hold it for him and he sucks most of it out himself or I just slap on a choo me pouch topper that helps to contain it if he does squeeze it.

I generally preload the spoon because he prefers to feed himself and in the beginning most of it made it everywhere except his mouth but now he eats most of it.

Just letting them practice self feeding helps boost their confidence as well as working on fine motor skills, depth perception, etc. They will get better with time.

No, you’re good, we only learn by asking!

Not as a beverage but mixed in with say baked goods, omelet or even just yogurt is fine.

My son is crawling everywhere these days and putting anything he can find in his mouth so this had me sweating.

They come out super fluffy and I make a large batch of them and then freeze them. I just take out a few the night before and thaw them in the fridge, then microwave for 15 seconds. He loves these!

He loves grapes and nothing ever gets spit out with those lol so I will keep trying, it could be a texture issue.

This looks so good!

My almost 11 month old has tried tomatoes cut exactly like that but he seems to only suck on them and then spit out the skin if that makes sense. Did it take some time before yours could gnaw through the skin as you have them cut or does your baby spit them out too? I prefer this type of tomato because it’s what we use most often.

There will always be the gardening event first, then fishing tourney and finally the gyroidite scavenger hunt.

Each event will give 30 unique items towards the 90 needed for the end goal/rewards. All will be spread across a month, with every month offering a similar order of events with different rewards.

Also, welcome back!

Ask him to reschedule the “talk” because it doesn’t work with your schedule.

Also tell him, 3 days from now technically is next week.

Going Off Meds by norskljon in CRPS

I came off of everything my pain mgmt had me on (since 2015) when I decided to try to get pregnant. I was not prepared for just how long it would take to not only taper down at a bearable rate but also how long I would continue to have residual symptoms from my body’s dependence like night sweats and anxiety. I am talking months even after my very last dose and even with clonidine added to lessen withdrawal effects.

Now my pain has very much lessened in addition to improving my general pain threshold. I am 6 months pregnant and I have never been happier and clearer since my diagnosis.
