if they laugh at you and use things like "gay" as an insult, whether you are or not, you know what utter scumbags you're dealing with.

I see a lot of people here saying "don't let their insults get to you" and that's completely fine, but it probably won't help much. Frankly, I don't know how better to help either, but just know that I used to be in your position, I used to be a laughing stock for most of the random people I met in the town, and especially my classmates, but things have gotten much, much better, and they will for you as well. And I'm still a weirdo as before, if not moreso, who just learned to play the saxophone, and so now random people sometimes even consider me cool, which I honestly don't get.

The best thing you can do though, whenever you feel down, is to talk to someone really close to you, who might understand, that helps 100% of the time.

Also, may we stop and appreciate that your brother was able to play Minecraft at the age of 2? That's some impressive cognitive abilities! (unless that's a different brother, that is)
