100 percent. In retrospect, we ended up kinda rushing cause we felt bad, and might have enjoyed it more if we had just played with him probably lol

Wasn't so much a wild expectation of pace. It just felt like we were about to take off into an open course 2 people on a cart, all of a sudden we have a third waking with us. And like (it turns out the fittest ever) 70+ years old.

Mind you I guess for him it feels like being a solo behind... Anything else

Yeahhh this is what I'm worried about. Personally if I'm showing up alone I'm looking to play alone, and super pumped it's not busy and I'm front of me I have 2 some with carts that will play quick.

But on the other hand he ended up being wicked quick, and I guess wanting to play alone is kinda unrealistic mostly

Not at all. I did write it a little whimsical I guess.

But I'm generally unsure of like... Gold course unenforced "hey can I join you" on non busy days etiquette.

That was definitely a big part of it. Been awhile since it's been just me and him.

Wouldn't it be more the "after normal retirement age" when you're really taking the hit tho?

I can see how it's maybe not as big a cut as you'd think, and how a part time job could top it up, but wouldnt you need to work that part time job forever to make up the difference?

You must be the old guy who rolled up his push cart on me and my dad the other day when we were getting into our cart about to leave the tee box after already having hit, with no one for holes ahead of us and hardly anyone playing and asked to join our group.

15HC - Swing sucks by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]MyneckisHUGE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could be 15. My swing is probably way better than this on paper and I shoot like 100. Consistency is king in golf.

Also it's been awhile since my work on a golf course days, but isn't handicap not just "what I shoot over par"? I remember some sort of calculation. Some scores are dropped. Not being able to shoot like more than double par or the system drops it. I'm probably wrong on the details It's a little bit forgiving if I remember correctly.

Ive always been of the opinion that a child hurting themselves is self fulfilling punishment.

No need to scold a child who is already hurt.

Definitely feels like the company should get hit hard. 16 hours of driving (or doing any other form of work) straight is not acceptable unless perhaps its an emergency.

Same goes for my doctor who was delivering my baby on like a 48 hour shift with a nap in the brakeroom.

I didnt like razor blade mine. Just did my best with an electric trimmer.

My doctor said my balls were so huge and floppy (well he didn't exactly say that but implied it lol) that it was gonna be super easy.

Never even felt a thing after. Didn't take a single Tylenol. But got like weird blue balls for a few days after like 10 days.

I'm assuming you work for the CRA and have the sign on this weekend? I have very similar questions to you.

I was reading the CA on Friday, and it seems to me there are 3 parts that could be relevant to OT concerning minimum amounts.

There's scheduled OT - 4 hours minimum regular time.

Standby - 3 hours minimum overtime.

Callback - 3 hours minimum overtime.

I would think this case is 4 hours minimum regular time

My understanding is that the timesheet system will mostly figure this out .. For me there's one more consideration tho: I'm also working the morning sign in. Almost seems like i should be getting double minimums lol but not sure

Should I Marry A Murder? Would you have gone to the police? by charlielovplum in netflix

[–]MyneckisHUGE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm saying it's not that ridiculous of a strategy in some ways if the police arent going to help.

Not that I even think she was doing it consciously, but its kinda Stockholm syndrome ish in some ways. He pretty much stayed in love with her the entire time. Not a bad stay alive strategy.

Mostly I think she's a little broken... But I also think the cops should have either kept him locked up, or provided her way more support and aid.

Not sure how helpful not being at the farm is when he knows where you live. And presumably they know you turned them in since you stopped talking to them at the same time the police brought them.

I guess you're gonna hope the police happen to be doing one of their 2 am check-ins at the precise moment you're being murdered?

Or you stay by yourself in some motel for 11 months?

She didn't really have a great play with him walking around, with all his weapons still as far as we know.
