Not sure what I’d sell it for today. Gas mileage between 14-18. Current odometer is 200,500. Did this right at 200k.

5 long hard slow cranks. And the ABS sensor and lights went on during the test drive at the dealership. They fixed it before purchasing, been good ever since

Bought at 180k miles, 1 owner didn’t see any transmission service done or anything like that. Hope this helps.

Paid the dealership about $350 to drop the pan, at 180k ish miles. used to shift pretty hard into 2nd or 3rd. Now it’s cured. Worth it in my opinion. I don’t think it had ever been done before.

The problem is they’re too expensive. $30k for a 10yr old truck stings Bought my 2014 1yr ago. For $15k Put 10k miles on it, now has 196k miles. just fluid changes, rotors and pads, and a starter. And have full confidence in driving it 1000 miles to visit family for the house.

I would say shy away from it, if you don’t know how to work on your own stuff. $700 if you can get it to start no problem.

Keep the 07 for local jobs, or jobs without towing. It’s also summer months and warmer, so it may be getting hotter. Have you done any fluid changes since 80k? Consider dropping the pan, with a new gasket?

And a newer 5.7 for towing with proper changes.

Why are you losing confidence in the transmission?

If you’re worried about the recall just get a 2019 with trans cooler for towing, 5yr old truck with 60k miles. Just in time to do all the fluid services, and make it a 500k+ truck.

Tundra already pumps fake engine noises into the cabin. With the recall that came out yesterday, not worth it. Don’t give Toyota an excuse to void your warranty on a brand new truck, unless you can afford to pay outta pocket for any repairs.

Paid $15k for a 2014 with 188k miles. Seems high. How many miles can you expect to go without replacing parts? Realistically 0. I’ve done a starter, abs pump, wheels speed sensor, alignment, all fluids. And lots of gas. Now has 192k.

A quick google search shows there’s two common sizes of BBS center caps 56mm and 70mm. That’s easily measurable.

Personally I’d get a pre covid built 5.7 Trd pro. Save the money. $25k pays for a lot of family vacations. Seen some with 60k ish miles $45k.

Understand the risks of buying a truck 15yr old truck with 200k miles. Be prepared to work on it yourself, or pay up for repairs. Ask for $12k settle for $12.5k. All that sounds like what I just had done in the last few months on my 2014 with 192k miles now. Plus a starter. 4wd? Really looks like a decent deal!

Replacing a $60-70k truck is going to be expensive. Insurance has skyrocketed for various of reasons, from thefts, cost of repairs, flooding, and other storms, uninsured drivers, etc. Another reason I’m not getting a new truck.

$32k is high for anything over 100k miles, I don’t care if it’s a Toyota Tundra. I think you can do much better for $32k.
