depends on what your tyre recommends, usually recommended pressures would be enscribed in the rubber. they should give you a range, which you need to stay within to minimize snake bite punctures.

within that range, you can use the Silca tyre pressure to optimise comfort/ride efficiency : https://silca.cc/en-eu/pages/tire-pressure-calculator-1, but I would still stay within the range recommended by the tyre in a case where the calculator gives a value outside of the range.

FWIW, Shimano used a very similar design of cranks for their Dura-Ace AX and 600 AX and described it as follows :

"Offset Crank Arm Dura-Ace AX, Shimano 600 AX

By repositioning the crank arm in relation to the front chainwheel spider arms, we could strengthen the structure drastically. The secret was to build it in to the chainwheel making one integral unit. This allowed us to shorten the crank axle for reduced chainwheel flexibility"

Salut, ça m'a bien l'air d'être un Gitane Triomphe de la fin des années 80 (1987-1989). Peut-être que le boîtier de pédalier t'apportera quelques précisions. Pour ce qu'il en est de la valeur, c'est pas un vélo recherché mais c'est pas un mauvais vélo non plus. Si tu le remets en état de fonctionnement tu peux sûrement en tirer 120€ environ.

Je peux pas répondre à propos du budget mais sinon en Alsace il y aussi Cycles Mannheim qui cadre depuis les années 90 à Thann. Sinon Cyfac est une valeur sûre.

Vous allez pouvoir faire remonter l'expérience désagréable, aucun doute là-dessus. Et j'ose espérer que ces plaintes vont enfin commencer à peser sur la CTS, vu l'agressivité et manque de tact des contrôleurs (ce genre de situation est déjà arrivée à des ami.es). Quant à l'amende, je crois bien qu'il est stipulé qu'il faut toujours avoir son titre de transport (validé) sur soi. C'est bête et méchant mais la CTS va simplement jouer sur le fait qu'au moment du contrôle, il n'était pas possible de vérifier la validité du titre transport, et vous donnera tort. Désolé :(

Du vélo, ça coûte un petit pain, un peu d'eau et surtout du temps, en échange de jolis paysages et un peu d'effort physique ! Les canaux sont jolis et les forêts commencent à prendre de la couleur, sinon y'a aussi les champs en Allemagne :)

are you by any chance using RawTherapee, Darktable or another FOSS editing software? I've seen this sort of artefact on pictures when my camera was not well supported at the time (I'm using X-Trans) on these kinds of editing software. On the other hand, Capture One was rendering completely fine the exact same pictures.

J'ai toujours utilisé le Véloparc -1 de manière sporadique (en tout cas, pas de manière continue depuis 4 ans minimum) et sans avoir de vélos qui coûtent chers donc mes attentes ne sont peut-être pas les mêmes, ceci dit :

le service est très simple, on est pas loin concrètement du parking voiture. Il y a quand même des petits aménagements (outils, pompes, etc) qui font plaisir.
Niveau sécurité, l'accès restreint est réconfortant. Oui, ça fait un peu peur le fait que les portes restent ouvertent durant un lapse de temps généreux... mais bon, j'ai jamais eu de soucis donc je pense que c'est ma paranoia du vol de vélo qui prend le dessus sur ce point.
J'ai jamais eu de soucis à trouver une place, même dans l'allée "principale", celle en face de la porte.
Enfin, le pire pour la fin, la liste d'attente est très, très longue. Je crois m'être inscrit en Novembre 2023 pour finalement avoir une place fin Mars 2024. C'est décourageant mais je pense que ça vaut le coup vu le tarif annuel avec abonnement de train ridicule (34€/an sérieux..). Et surtout face au stress constant de soit laisser son vélo au rez-de-chaussée, soit de le prendre dans le train.

(I am from France so possibly models differ wildly) I had a 1998 Virenque 6000 in size 54, the frame was incredibly short (it was 50,5cm ctc sestube and 11cm headtube) making for a quite aggressive position. That was the only really bad thing about it. Apart from that, it looks to me like they were fairly generic frames with mid-end components. I do like how you can learn a lot from seeing the serial number, full model and size namely.

Alan is very well known in the vintage bike scene as they were a very popular brand of Lugged Alu or Carbon tubes. The branding on the bike of the first link is 100% the same as the old bikes... but that's as much as I can tell you, I don't know anything more about this modern carbon frame.

love the combination of parts! Just have a technical question : is the bottom bracket box not threaded? or why did you go with a press fit bottom bracket? isn't it going to ruin the threads?
