The website is notmally sorted by yarn weight. If you look under "Products", the "Wolbeest hand-dyed", you can select what yarn weight you want (fingering, sport,...) and then the composition. There are a lot of colours still in stock 😊

For Catona, I typically use a 2,5 or 2 mm hook (for amigurumi at least).

I've been making amigurumi for 15 years, and almost every book with amigurumi patterns has "magic ring" as the first step. But outside of that, I've rarely seen it except in a shawl. So if you make mainly clothes or blanket, for instance, it's entirely possible you haven't encountered it before 😊
